How much is this piece going for? I'm considering letting mine go to gather funds for a Cap PF.

Oooohhh...you must be a big time Cap fan if you're willing to let this one go. I have the EX and it's one of about 3 or 4 in my collection that I will probably never sell.

I wouldn't say im a big time Cap fan but I have certainly gained more interest in him over the years and less interest in my IM Maquette. I thought about it long and hard, trust me it was not a decision I made over night. The Cap PF is such an iconic piece and it doesn't look like SS is going to revisit the character anytime soon while SS will release new IM armors from the upcoming movie. Regardless, I'm planning to stick to comic based pieces and with the sale of my WM Maquette, I rather let the last movie based piece in my collection go to someone who would appreciate it more.

Seems like I stirred up quite a bit of interest before I even posted a sale thread. I will try my best to get some pictures before the end of the week and figure out a price I am comfortable with. Reassured, I will respond to everyone's PMs again. Thank you everyone for your interest.

I thought it was worth around $800. Last one on eBay went for $1000 shipped.

If it's the one that sold last week. It's being returned the seller said it was perfect, no defects but that was not the case it had crap all over its neck area, faceplate was bit jacked up (had smudge of different gold in 2 areas) I know nothing is perfect but come on how can you miss does 2 things and say no defects.....also to boot no original brown shipper & art box is falling apart. The only reason my bud spent $1000 was it was described as having no defects and the pics look good. That's why I never buy from eBay peeps be lying lol!!!!

Yea I got mine from a great freak here on the boards. I was just trying to say that he is worth far more than $700.

I always thought the prices on ebay were not always that accurate. Sometimes I think it is just shill bidders bidding on their own auction to drive up the market price of a piece.

That sucks :(.......may I ask who was the seller on eBay? Is your friend getting a refund???

It's inductivelab he's out of AZ. Yeah he is but he's not happy that he will have to pay return shipping, man $50 bucks. He is pissed off!!!! it's not fair the seller should eat that too, not describing the item accurately:lecture

Always annoying when the seller describes it as mint but forgets to declare any noticable smudges or defects :slap With items that i've won in the past that had high value, i'd always ask the seller to send me clear pictures from various angles so that it gives me a better idea of what i'm buying. Sometimes certain sellers photograph their pieces from angles which hide possible defects :exactly: so best to ask them to take some more pics from my angle of choice

I've spent a year browsing Ebay daily looking for this. You can probably get a displayed one, with minor defects, for under $800 but if you want a mint one, or want to take a chance on an unopened one, you should expect to around $1000 I think.

Ouch! $1000? I can't believe I passed on this when it came out! Back then I thought $500 was too much money for a collectable :slap

Lesson learned. Order everything you want now while you can, worry about it later. Once it's gone its really gone.

Don't sweat it man they are going to do all the armors in 1/4th eventually. I'm not going to buy cuz I know another is on the horizon. Unless of course it's your fav armor and pose then your right. Can't get this one back.
