I'm not in a rush to order it, will definitely pass if there is a deposit. There is so much Iron Man 2 stuff still on the horizon from Hot Toys, Koto and Sideshow's offerings haven't been announced yet and they've already admitted to following suit to Iron Man 1 so that means there is much more goodness to pick and choose without tying myself to this.

If its $1000 which is a logical guess I'd rather spend that towards a 1:2 War Machine or a 1:1 bust of the Mark V (especially if they do the intricate plating) than a maquette. Not to mention I have a feeling that SSC will be giving us a red/gold Iron man 1:4 piece this time around (probably spaced out from this) and it might be the Mark IV if not the Mark VI which will fit the bill nicely.

I'll be watching Thursday but definitely not stressing as there is much, much more to be had.

Good points Mike....you have given me some things to think about regarding this potential purchase.

Online vendors must have details of this already. Has anyone even rang or emailed any for prices. I am hoping that a WM is released at 1/4 scale too and not just 1:2. A MK V would also be incredible.

1/2 scale = fail
1/4 scale for the win.:D:D

would be nice if we get another sneak peak, or full reveal before the newsletter is released.
i know they've done this before and it would be nice to see that before ordering and if they do require a deposit then there will be no rush to order this as it'll be up for order for awhile.

It would be nice to know more information before preorder...especially since we know this is going to be a high end item...

i do want this to go with premium format but 1000 much money that is 3 premium format

1000 is way too much. this wont cost more than $499.00 at the most. just go by other 1:4 scale maquettes.
if it costs more than $400 i'm not getting it. we all have been collecting long enough to know when we are getting shafted.

You cannot compare this to other PFs. Search on the site for other Legacy pieces and you'll see an obvious trend.
