I was just saying in general, that CSP was at least a little ambiguous so if he was wrong you can't fault him. I think SSC would be better off just telling people to wait until Thursday so there is zero confusion in the end.

No one should lose their jobs, just a simple check of job description. The CS Reps are there to assist not to give the "inside track" in terms of information. He said around $500 but if it isn't then he misrepresented the company. For me if I were CS manager I'd write up that employee on the sheer possibly that even if one person calls to complain about the price difference that its a frown towards the company as whole. Even if its $500 on the dot, something tells me that they wouldn't be too happy about a CS simply letting the cat out of the bag before the newsletter.

I'm sure the SS Retailers are going to be really tightlipped on this since there I think SSC will take action against if it ever came out ahead of schedule. Based on the fact that most etailers put their up mere moments after the Newsletter though it might not appear on their docket until the morning of. Not to bring another Master Replicas example (but its all I know of this kind of thing) their retailers got the information the day of pre-order a few hours early in most cases to be ready with their listings right after PO.

I called my comic book store, and he had no idea on the cost.

I'm friends with a retailer, and he gave me a price on something and it ended up being changed within a day or two of the preorder, so even they don't know a lot beforehand.

Mine for example doesn't carry any but will allow you to order through them as a middleman which no one does because its the full MSRP and sometimes higher. So if I called mine they'd give me the ol' shrug shoulders as well but ask if I wanted to order still.

Yes, he's actually an etailer and SS is a lot of his business.

My question was aimed at user "empacker04" since he called his comic shop but good to know that we have an inside track regardless. Honestly I don't see anyone getting anything on this until tomorrow. I remember the days where people would get at least pictures a few days early and they've successfully held that at bay so I don't see this as any different
