What height is RDJ? Will this maquette be comic height accurate or movie height accurate?

1/2 maquette is 40" tall so i imagine this'll be 20" tall maybe more if the base adds height

RDJ is only 5'8". Tony Stark though is 6'. He is on lifts whenever he needs to appear taller or as tall as his counterparts. Just like whenever he and Gwennie were together she needed to appear shorter since Pepper is in fact shorter than Tony so he stood on boxes, etc. My guess is that the maquette will strive for Tony's height than RDJ's actual height.

Honestly we won't find out until the Newsletter tomorrow but I'm still leaning towards and expecting the higher pricepoint. The more important question as far as I'm concerned is whether they'll be a non-refundable deposit on it.

Does your LCS actually carry Sideshow regularly? Mine for example doesn't carry any but will allow you to order through them as a middleman which no one does because its the full MSRP and sometimes higher. So if I called mine they'd give me the ol' shrug shoulders as well but ask if I wanted to order still.

Yes. I get all my Sideshow stuff from them. I never PO from SSC unless I want the ex. My CBS can not get exs.

But they had no idea on cost or scale.

Just got off the phone with a different SSC CS rep. She told me that all the information will be in the newsletter.

So who knows. I hope the around $500 is true, but I like a lot of you think it will be higher.
