Again the paint app is freaking amazing. But still sideshow can't weed out the defects. They even stopped putting the sideshow QC passed sticker on the styrofoam.

This is going to sound rude, but the QC stickers didn't mean ****, IMO. I still got horrible defects on pieces with the sticker in place and when I didn't get one with it, it would be flawless. No rhyme or reason.

I have the sideshow mark 7 half scale and the IA mark 42 half scale. Along with the life size busy of war machine, mark 7 and mark 3.

I had 2 and returned them both. Paint app was one point but one had the leg broken off and the other had cuts all over it and various other issues. Typical sideshow

Wish I could get this piece, but I just don't have the space.......but oddly enough I'm slowly considering that I get that Prime 1 Wonder Woman piece.....


And did you see the pics of the 1/4 Iron Studios piece? It has so many more of the lights than this far more expensive piece....what were Sideshow thinking?! I think I counted 24 points of light; there's only one button to switch them all on, and only one place to put batteries. Which as you know is quite different to the Legendary scale.

Sideshow seems to be cutting costs left and right. The lights make the statue and I considered cancelling before release because they removed the lights.

It's great that you've received a piece to your liking.

I wish I had the available space for this piece, but unfortunately my current preorders take priority.

But I guess the 1/4 Iron Studios version will have to be enough for me, and even though it doesn't have the sheer presence of this 1/2 scale statue, it at least has all the relevant lights.

Though I've never seen the statue in hand, I've always thought the pose was an interesting choice. In that at least it wasn't just a straight up and down pose.

I've personally never understood the love the Mark 7 Armor gets. In order of preference I much prefer the Mark 6, 3, 46, 43... and maybe then the Mark 7. And because of that the Mark 7 1/2 scale was never an option for me. I wish I had been collecting when the earlier Marks were released? by Sideshow.
