Each of these pieces can be removed individually so that replacing batteries is as easy as asking F.R.I.D.A.Y.

Did any one see this. Each part of the statue will have batteries

Yup, saw that. This shouldn't be a problem now. Sideshow has drastically cut down on the number of lighting features. :lol

I'm still interested in seeing how the paint app turns out, but I've become less interested in this because it won't sit well with me having a 1/2 scale that's less accurate than a 1/4 counterpart.

Completely agree. The only reason I have the Mark 7 half scale is because I got it for 100$[emoji12] [emoji12]

Coldblooded. :lol

But I do like seeing that idea of each part having batteries. Cuts down on less going wrong, IMO.

Are there any updates on this statue. I may give up my quest for the IA mark 17 and 7 and just buy this.

This is definitely a problem when you decide to have all statues on. This means that you'll have to manually turn each piece to each Iron Man statue on. Not to mention the fact that if the piece is under glass, you can imagine the headache. I would really prefer to have the power option or both. I'm having a really difficult time with the Mark 43 at the moment each time I want the lights on.

Is it actually confirmed that SS will be going with the "battery-based" option again? At least Prime 1 Studios (on their DC 1/2 scale statues) allow you to turn on the everything through one button alone making things much easier.

Actually it seems that the 1/2 scale Armored Batman has separate batteries in the base and head, both with separate switches. Heck for the eyes, you have to take half the head off to get to the batteries and the switch!

Well I ordered this statue. I wanted another IA statue but they seem to be going down the tubes. They make amazing statues but to high if a risk trying to buy them right now. Don't get me wrong if I had a chance to buy the mark 17 I'd jump all over it.

As much as I dislike sideshow I need more half scales and they seem to be the only ones putting them out right now.

At first I didn't like this statue but after watching civil war again andokming again I feel in love with the pose. I don't like that they missed out of all the extra lights but over all it should be a good statue as long as their QC department shows up.

I just hope for you that they'll go back to an AC adapter/master switch and not the stupid individual light switch for every single one...

Has this piece still not been shown at a.show yet

Soo I guess no pics have leaked at all.

Nothing yet. I'm already livid about all the lights they are missing on this piece.
Hot Toys got it right, but SS did not. Also, if you compare, Hot toys is spot on.
If they bring the battery feature without the AC adapter, I'm passing on this one for sure.
Doing the same thing with Prime 1 Armored Batman. It's ridiculous to have these on battery option only.

I agree there's a good change I'll be sending this back due to defects and so I don't lose my deposit.

I would have seriously considered this piece if SS hadn't skimped out on all the lights this suit is supposed to have. For they money they're charging they can add some cheap LEDs to make it accurate. Another example of them dropping the ball BIG TIME!

That was a turn-off for me as well. I still like the piece, but man, it could have really been next level with more lights.

Doesn't look like this statue will be on display.
