Picked it up for a grand a few months ago

I don't own the SSC Opera Vader PF but have seen it in person (I only own the old ANH PF). The friend who has it also has seen my IS Vader. He is one of the very few collectors in my country and he decided he needs to buy the IS Vader too. He is saving $ for it as we speak.

I can't see what you're seeing regarding the new Sideshow PF at all, I just think it's disappointing in almost every way, a missed opportunity at best. But that's perfectly fine, each to their own and all that. But to call the IS Vader a monstrosity while singing the praises of said PF is almost Troll like behavior, come on now....

Ok perhaps "monstrosity" is a bit of an exaggeration. It looks ok and quite detailed I give it that but the arm posing seems weird and really detracts from it. IMO football Vader really seems to fit the action sequence we saw at the end of Rogue One.
I just don't think IS is the holy grail it's made out to be and there are other Vader statues out there which challenge or better it (yes the previously mentioned football Vader but especially the Attakus 1/5 Vader)

Having more display options is a negative? I've never changed out the arms on mine. You can't even tell it's an option just by viewing the statue.

Now your second comment and if you scene the Vader in person you would know that their are like three or four different poses you can pose him with is arms down. Not holding the light saber. So, you saying that it detracts from it, well it doesn't because you don't have to put him in that pose. I hope now you understand. Also, you say that RO Vader fits the RO action scene, hmm really, so that base was in RO, Vader did that pose in RO. I don't remember any of that. Well, seeing as I hated all the disney Star Wars, disinterests me in any of the new statues. However, this was not in RO. I am not here to argue but have a conversation. If you can handle that then don't reply back . However, everything you said was wrong bud. IS is a grail to everyone who has it and to most pple who don't have it want it. It got statue of the year int he forum. The price keeps going up and they are hard to find. A little advice if your going to have a conversation try to have points to back up your statements because again all of what you said is pretty much wrong unless I missed RO scene and that is possible because I hated those movies. But I think I gave you evidence and points to back my statement anyways Peace!

Oh and you never answered my question, have you scene this in person all the poses, it seems you haven't by the way your talking. If you have then your comment is even more bs, then how is it weird and how does it detract from it. Makes no sense.

As much as everyone has been giving it to you about the SS RO Vader, I actually have a feeling it might be a sleeper; once it hits and people start futzing it, it may actually be really good.

Sad thing is, not one picture is doing it any justice so far.
