The problem with Krazy Glue is that it is really thin. If there's not a perfect connection between the two pieces, it'll be tough. Something thicker like gorilla glue would help unless you want to sand the two surfaces a little.

Yeah I think that's the problem. I'll have to get some tomorrow morning as soon as I get off.

Great pics guys!

Destroyous, you said he wouldnt fit in a detolf. If he doesn't have the webbing then would he, or is that a no go as well? Wouldn't mind putting him at the bottom of mine.

You could try Loctite Gel. I think you could get it from Home Depot. Congrats on the piece and thanks for posting your pics.

great looking paint. just can't get past the awful pose. too much of his body is hidden and its very unnatural which is its worst trait, he's too stiff.

Thanks guys there's a Home Depot on the way home tomorrow morning that I'll stop by to get some. No it won't fit inside the detolf. I wish, I would put mine on the bottom as well but the arm and leg stick out too far and the Ock arm in the back also stick out.

Great pics Mamba and congrats! Epic Spidey display! What are your overall thoughts on the piece? Where would you rank it in the hierarchy of Spidey statues?

Well that sucks :/ thanks for answer my question.

Thank you guys, overall I am very happy with this piece. My only complain is the size of the box, it's gigantic it such as space eater in my garage and be very careful when you assembly this, there are so much detail.

As far as which one is my favorite, it's hard to tell, I have to think about it further as I don't want to be a prisoner of the moment. IS probably has the best base, but I still think the new Spidey PF has the best body and head. I like the color on IS better though, the blue texturing on his suit is so good.

Seeing it next the the pf it's hard to believe it's almost $300 more.

In the United States. To get the SSC Spidey where this statue is made to collectors is $300 more. If it was XM it would be $600 more in the Unites States delivered.

The mask looks bad in this pic.

Like structurally bad as in paint apps bad? I could understand if that is the argument, but this statue is straight out of a comic drawn by an actual comic artist. Not a mixed media statue. Mike Deodato is from Brazil so IS paid an homage to a local legendary Spidey artist. To me it's pretty spot on based on his art.

i know art is subjective, so I guess I'm just confused at what you mean, but it is definitely all good, brother. We all like what we all like.

I will get mine on Thursday and review if it is better than the Koto Spidey which, in my opinion, is the only statue that might be better.

I don't know what it is called anymore, but the best glue I ever got I bought at a model building shop. It is so much stronger then Gorilla Glue and you don't need to dampen your surfaces. It is a special type that binds in seconds and cures in 5-10 mins.
