Yeah. CW Falcon was about that price, and IMO that piece is perfection, from pose to base, to details, sculpt and paint.

If Thor was *perfection* I'd manage, somehow. Guessing IS maybe heard some complaints about Falcon re "love to get this but wings won't fit".

True enough, Falcon is about 3 feet across on display. U need room. But I would've gone for a less museum-y pose Thor, bringing the lightning - even it it took up space like Falcon and/or didn't go with the Cap and IM pieces.

Congrats to folks picking him up tho.

I think IS really went all-in on people buying these together as a set with the trinity standing face to face against Thanos. I'm good with the museum poses for them because I plan to get them all. For those who might've just wanted one, I can see where a more action-y pose would've been desired.

I think i'm in for this but I'm going to wait a bit to PO as I need to free up some finances first. I do with he had a swapout short hair head but its not a deal breaker. I appreciate that he is cheaper than Cap!

The switchout Mjolnir arm is just so damned awful. The pose holding Mjolnir at his side, but for some reason balancing Stormbreaker directly in front of him just looks ridiculous.

It should have been two switchout sets, hands crossed hands on Stormbreaker, and both Stormbreaker and Mjolnir held at his sides.

If they'd nailed the likeness, fine. But they didn't, so... meh.

I agree with all of this and have to pass on this one. Will keep my eye on Mark 85 and Thanos but Cap might be the only one from Endgame I go for.

I'll dissent here. I think the likeness is really good. Take into account that Chris didn't even look like Chris in this movie. We lose defining features like his jawline that we are used to seeing.

I think Thor and Cap look great overall.. BUT the one thing I notice is that there are certain angle that I really don't like them at. Unfortunately its an angle where I would see them regardless of where I display them.

I think they both look so blah in this pic.. Cap almost looks like a block of wood due to being so narrow in pose. Thor looks stiff also.. Not as wooden as Cap but still not natural.

However both look amazing from slight turned stances. Much natural looking.

Sigh

They made him fat. I know it’s movie accurate but I was hoping this to be the definitive MCU Thor

Now I’m on the fence again.

Looks like I’ll just be picking up cap from this lineup

Didn't a lot of Viking warriors have some weight to them? Never saw it as a big issue since he was no less powerful from the extra fat. Even Odin had some extra pounds :lol Loved the hair and beard more than the short hair version, if only he wore the winged helmet with this look, haha

Thor came out great amazing work by IS.

He should’ve come with a head with brightly painted lightning eyes though.

Portly Thor is bad ***.

Why would you pose the Cap statue straight on though? It's pretty clearly meant to be tilted slightly to the side so that his left hand holding the shield is more prominent.

Did we watch the same movie?! Imo he never reached the power levels or effectiveness that he had since Thor 3 and especially Infinity War.

In raw power he was strong enough to overpower Thanos when he was using the power stone in IW, but he couldn’t do much against Thanos when he didn’t even have the Infinity Gauntlet. Heck Cap was more impressive and effective against Thanos. But I guess they had to put Cap front and centre to end his story, and to do that they depowered Thor (plus wanting to show the various effects the narrative had on Thor personally).

Honestly the only thing I disliked in the entire Endgame film was the continuous use of lingering shots of Thor’s gut. After the first couple of times it just plain annoyed me, as it was used just to get cheap (but effective) laughs.

It’s finally up at Popcultcha (Australia). Though it’s priced exactly the same as Cap Deluxe.

Not sure about the popcultcha thought process there. That's mildly off-putting but I've decided to get at least the avengers from this line, I'll have to suck it up.
I was hoping it'd be $50 cheaper.
