Well surprisingly so far this looks like it might be more popular than the Thanos piece on the Popcultcha (Australia) website.:dunno

Though it's a very tiny sample size since it went up for preorder last night, but looking at their available preorder stock, 4 Spiders to 1 Thanos were preordered after I saw it go up for preorder on their site (though a few might've been preordered before I noticed).

Between the two I would've thought Thanos was going to be more sought after.

EDITED: Now a day later the numbers have flipped to 7 Thanos / 6 Spidey.

how are you getting numbers

how are you getting numbers

When you add to cart, there's a maximum that you can add. For example now you can only add 29 Thanos and 41 Spidey's. And the numbers decrease for each piece preordered. It might not be perfect system, but it's a good way to keep track of your wishlist items before they're almost sold out, and you miss out on preordering. For example I kept track of the Hush Ivy periodically and got my preorder in before they sold out of their allocated stock.

You're a smart man.

How are people gonna display this guy? The size is now what's keeping me from purchasing him.

I just watched Infinity War again, I paid particular attention to his suit now that i preorders this statue, I didn't realise his new suit has a lot of light up area's.
I don't think IS is going to replicate that, it says only has light up eyes. Thats disappointing.....

I'm not that disappointed. As I don't have much faith when it comes to Iron Studios light up features. Note that I love most of their pieces as I've got almost 3 dozen across 3 scales.

Most light features have light leakage issues. Nearly every Iron Man statue I've purchased from Iron Studios (3), Sideshow (2), and beast Kingdom (3) have had light leakage issues, except for 1. That being the most recent Mark 3 Maquette.

But the worst I've gotten is easily the Iron Studios Mark 46. It's leaks light from all parts of the body. The waist, lower arms, and leg areas on mine leak lights at all the points where there are panel lines etc (where the body is thinnest I guess), making the whole figure light up in an orange colour and causing the figure to look almost translucent.

Has any one seen this in person?

I'm assuming the legs are detachable for shipping, if that's the case I'll be putting him up on my highest shelf so you shouldn't be able to see his back, so I'm just going to display him without the extra legs on his back... I'll just angle it right.. that's my plan for the moment, worse case if I have to display him with the legs I do have the room it just takes up a lot of space I rather used on another character..

I sure hope so. Would be pretty weird if Iron Studios blindfolded all their employees...

Awesome thank you for the link. I didn't even think to search YouTube. I'm still recovering from the holidays.

Um that space Marine looks badass. Is that sideshow?

Also thank God I pre ordered this statue. It looks amazing. This will be my first from this company.

Hey every one. I see there's a ton of Thaons pictures coming out but I haven't seen any chatter about Iron Spider man.

Has any one heard anything?

Just got an email that the statue got delayed a month.

I ended up canceling mine. It's a cool looking statue, but I was concerned about the amount of space he'd occupy with his arms. Falcons wings are a pain in the ass as it is.

I also didn't love how deep the spider web grooves seemed to be, and how much the eyes stuck out from the helmet.

Still, was hoping this would be out soon so I could see in hand pics.
