Probably gonna be a lot of BPs eventually but this one may always be IMO one of the better ones re CW.

I mean, I could see setting him a bit behind Bucky just from this mockup, on the shelf, using whatever to adjust the heights, the silver of BP outfit gleaming in the shadows cast by carefully placed LEDs - no, no, no...curse you IS! I'll be lucky to SQUEEEEEEEEZE out Bucky and Cap and MAYBE Falcon

LOL it'd be easier if these pieces looked bad, then we could just have our HTs and be happy....

Ridiculous mistake in painting

This looks very nice, but you're right, they did miss that (or maybe chose not to do it).

The eyes are also white on the statue and not silver, so the only thing I can think of is maybe IS was working off of old/original Panther costume ideas, and those extra lines on the face mask and eyes were different than what appeared on screen--and they just never updated the statue.

Then maybe they were working from an older/original version of the mask - that kind of thing has happened before - collectibles in production but things were tweaked for the final film, and fixing it would mean more time and money.

If I were going to run off and order this, it wouldn't be a deal-breaker for me - IMO looks like a gorgeous piece. And I dunno - hard to say without a repaint and having in hand, at this scale would the white around the eyes look too cluttered? Especially viewing at a distance. Suppose you could use fine lines but then is it even worth doing?

Tho IMO silver eyes would have been nice.

However Popcultcha (Australia) has since confirmed that they have both the 1/4 Black Panther and 1/4 Falcon currently instock.

Could someone please confirm with Sideshow what exactly their issue was with Falcon's wings so that I know what I'm looking for, when and if I receive mine.

Thanks! I might try to e-mail Popculcha and BEG for an unbox review - they did for Ultron Cap. Either BP or Falcon - anything. And Falcon may be cheaper for me though them than SSC. But is SSC the only .store checking?

Please note that as sometimes happens over at Popcultcha they sometimes increase the instock price over their preorder price. The Black Panther was $999.99 AUD (which was shown always shown as a discounted price), but now it's $1,199.99 AUD (which was always shown as the price before discount). So the same may happen with Falcon which still has its discounted price of $1,199.99 AUD (but with a retail price of $1,299.99 AUD).

And regarding Popcultcha checking the piece, please keep in mind that they never pulled the original 1/4 Iron Studios Spider-Man piece from their website even after Sideshow removed the piece from theirs, when they put it to waitlist. Popcultcha continues to sell the original pieces even now. They however did put additional protection between the shipperbox and the artbox when they shipped the Spider-Man piece to customers, for whatever that accomplished.

They won't know that though. Just tell them, "I heard XXXX about XXXX. Can you confirm what the concern is?"

They should have to ask for an item number and even if they do, tell them "I haven't ordered from you because I'm concerned about XXXX"....which is the truth techinically.

Phoenix, thank you. Guess I thought with the huge volume of stuff Popcultcha has, like Amazon they might be more up front about things (e.g.Amazon will point blank discontinue carrying a product for known issues and say why at times). Plus by doing a review or at least some pics, seems like they'd be bettering the chance for a sale.

Well, unless I hear something real bad before the WS release, I'm keeping my SSC PO and I'd like Falcon too. Maybe the Brazilian shops will start putting some pics up, or the collectors.
