Even though I've already received mine, I'm looking forward to hear your thoughts on it and especially on Falcon (as imo that's a much? better piece), whenever that is shipped from Sideshow.

Being in Australia, I usually have to wait a couple of months after watching your unboxing and review videos on Youtube (to get my fix) before I receive mine from my local store, but for whatever reason the last four Iron Studio pieces have got to Australia either a bit earlier or at the same time.

This will only apply to a few but for those wanting to put this statue inside a Besta with glass, you won't be able to put the statue straight on etc because the statue is fairly deep from various pertrusions at the rear and of course his claws at the front.

These were the two best angles I could get with the glass door closed.





Oddly enough I think he looks better from being lit under a yellow led strip from above then he does when in a well lit room under natural light; as it creates nice shadows to further break up the simple colour palette and highlights the silver paint quite nicely.

I'll probably be displaying him like this for the next few months (if not forever) or until I get all 6 pieces in the diorama and prepare some sort of display to house them all together.

Thrilled to have this whole set on order now. Got a bit dodgy for a minute there with reports of Falcon being sent back en masse, but it looks like the finished product is really solid.

Minor paint issues don't bother me, as I can fix those myself. The low edition size is icing on the cake. Gonna be one hell of a display!

The statue is nicely done but the base not so. They should've done an open metal stairway with a diagonal beam to hold it all on the side. Metal pipe looks silly. Half his body basically covered by the base, unless one display him side way. Is he ripping out the stairway for no reason? Eh.

IMO the bases on all these are amazing. For me they evoke the industrial look of some of the movie sets, the Siberian station especially. One of the attractions of this figure for me IS the metal stairway being pulled back, as for me the artist has managed to capture the powerfulness and grace of the Black Panther, and all that coiled energy. "Everyone" including XM seems to make a BP where there are scratch marks, but for me this is the best I've seen. It's like a moment where the claws just dug in and now he's ready to strike - awesome. Love that he is "prowling" up and over the staircase. Love the mix of metal, stone, and velvety black.

Hope folks post more pics when they get theirs!

It may be a while for me, but this still sounds good. And w. mention of the Chinese New Year in another post - wonder if that's why Winter Soldier (and War Machine, maybe) were delayed e.g. SSC pushed my WS payment back. Because factories/shippers are closed for holiday.
