Re: Ironman 3 Spoiler Discussion

Kingsley is not the real Mandarin :gah:
..okay now that I've gotten that out of my system,
I think I still might get the figure while blocking any memory of the twist in my mind.
I'll just treat it like Darth Malgus, admire the trailer and forget about the main material.

Ole, ole, ole, ole, ole... :violin

Yep all you see of the Redsnapper is it being beaten to ****, all you see of Igor is what we've already seen in the trailer and the Heartbreaker which looked potentially amazing I dont even remember seeing it full stop (I must of blinked)

Best Heartbreaker moment: It carries Rhodey.. :lol

I thought the 33 was already ripped apart by Killian by that point.
hard to keep track of the armours through that part.

Yeahp, it was definitely the 7. It had the same back and the arm Pepper wore is the VII's.

It's weird Tony didn't use the VII's laser to cut through Kilian and his henchmutants.

Re: Ironman 3 Spoiler Discussion

What do you guys think about buying an Iron Patriot figure/statue after seeing the movie? I was pretty hyped to see it in battle alongside Iron Man (or alone) but since we never got any of that.. I'm thinking it's not that important as I thought it would be. War Machine 2.0 was completely absent as well.. did I miss it in the few minutes where the other armors had only seconds of screen time each? I was kinda expecting Tony to say to Rhodey, "there's my boys, and I have a present for you Rhodey..." in comes War Machine 2.0...

Yeah me too... when Rhodey's all like... wheres mine? And Tony basically flips him off... i was like awwwwwwwwwwwww...............

Iron Patriot sucked in the movie. The 10 minutes of screen time of War Machine in IM2 was much cooler.

I dont care if its just regular bullets, WARMACHINE ROCKX (;) )

Well.. .Manderin is passable in my books unless its cheap (which probably won't be), but a battle mode Pepper... now i could get into that.

Re: Ironman 3 Spoiler Discussion

I feel that HT Tony is the best figure to represent this film...also I doubt after anyone watches the movie, they will buy the Red Snapper, Igor or Heartbreaker for their screen time

Yeah, some want Igor cause they thought it wuold be a Hulk Buster. :lol

Seeing how the Mutants (Extremists?? :lol) ripped Tony's suits apart,
IM is no match to the Hulk.

Hahah yeah i agree.

Funnily enough.. the movie actaully made me want the full set of 7 Hall of armour even more.

Re: Ironman 3 Spoiler Discussion

Well, the mark VII had more screen time than I thought :lol and after getting destroyed it appears at the final battle, I liked that.

Maybe there was too much funny moments in that movie, and I have to be honest... I wanted to hear some AC/DC music there, but its ok.

The movie really felt like the end, all the armors being destroyed, lack of Heartbreaker screentime. This movie made me jump from feeling sad to happy on every little second.

I have mixed feelings about it I really wouldn't know how to rate it, but I know I loved it :love
and I already decided what armors I'll get, All the main suits puls a figure of Pepper and Aldrich :drool (those are a must) I'm still not sure about getting the fake mandarin

Re: Ironman 3 Spoiler Discussion

just watched this movie last night & dissapointed. I'm not seeing the invincible iron man there:(
I'm kind of expecting new weapon systems for mark 42, just like mark 7 in the avengers, but I only saw mark 42 being crushed by a truck:thud:
And with enemies like that, why would Tony fight in close combat?:slap

Re: Ironman 3 Spoiler Discussion

I really loved the movie, there's quite a lot of action scenes in there that gets your heart pumping but I think the whole surgery in the end didn't make sense.

If he can just end this whole "arc reactor in the heart" thing with a surgery, why did he not do it in IM2 instead, and avoid the struggle to come up with a new element to replace his arc reactor?

I know I watch iron man for the action but there's just too many loop holes in the story.

Re: Ironman 3 Spoiler Discussion

Shame that the only thing left of previous movies was Dummy....

I hope Joss Whedon is more mentally capable than using Extremis extruding out from the Bones/skin for Armor for Avengers 2. As with Extremis bomb/heat... to put it mildly, "dumb".

Hollywood butchers one of the great iron man villains of all time.

That aside, never being a big fan of the Hollywood adaptations of the comics story-wise, im glad to see the extremists armor, iron patriot, and silver centurion in the film. First two will be the closest things to the comics that I'll have in my collection now I just have to wait for a silver centurion from hot toys. If the igor comes out huge then ill buy him and get someone to paint him in hulkbuster colors too.

Guess now that the extremists has been done, they will do bleeding edge in the next movie?

Still like the original film the best.

Regarding Igor... the brief burst through the containers as seen in the trailers is the only reference guide of Igor's size... So HT may make it smaller like Iron Monger... just big enough I suppose.

I just add a 'figure' to the title so that its more appropriate here.

Good thread though, as the whole time I was watching, I was thinking on which HT figure they'll likely make and I'll most likely buy :lol

Question of the day here, guys - So whats the main difference of mark 42 compared to the previous armors, asides of being super fragile and getting broken down all the time?

I mean at least each of the mark upgrades usually meant more stuffs being added, or weapons.

At this point, Tony have already set all of his suits to be controlled by jarvis upon command, and also dissect and transform again automatically just like the mark 42s.

Mobile modular parts as oppose to a whole large armor (Mk. 7 to 41 probably)...

Note: Mk. 42 have some sort of rechargeable batteries (being compose of many parts) that even as a whole unit cannot utilise the ArcReactor's power on Tony's chest (Prototype). :slap

Mk. 7 to Mk. 41 probably have their own ArcReactors as well.

The other suits are also mobile as well though? granted that the size might be bigger, but thats debatable depending on which marks we are talking bout.
