Everytime I see this thread I hear the opening part of "The Circle of Life" from the Lion King.

I keep thinking of this:

My kids love that movie... I did too when I was a kid but man, those special effects are atreyucious!

muted trumpet sings: wah wah wah wah wah :monkey5

I saw that movie a couple times when I was little. First time I saw it I was scared crapless of the part when the horse sunk in the mud. I'd like to see it again.

Come on now...what is more scarier than THE NOTHING...it's just nothing, that still freaks me out. And that creepy talking wolf, that just isn't right. And the giant flying dog that smilies all the time. If something smiles that much all the time, there has to be something wrong with it.

I saw it when it first came out and I had a crush on that Empress.
I can sympathize with that, in the picture she looks like a girl I currently have a crush on. When did it come out anyways?

Little kid crushes are always fun to think back on...

So to get back on topic, complainers suck, right? :p

I prefer to be known as a BNB (or Brown Nose Basher to you lay people) or BKW (Butt Kissing Whiner).

Speaking of Brown Noses, I went to Statue Forum and there's a lot of Bowen Brown Nosers over too. :lol I guess if you love the company, you immediately become a Brown Nose. :lol

Do brown nosers use brown shoe polish to keep their noses nice and shiney?

It came out in 1984. I was nine years old.

Yeah, I was three.... but when I got older and watched it again... (around 12) I still thought she was hot. :D

Y'know...THIS is why I love this board so much. We come on, write in a serious topic... discussing things that we are very concerned about.. And then we spiral off into silly mini-topics that calm us down and make us laugh.

We are a very "behaved" board when you really look at it, many of us treating each other as close friends... It's cool. I have had such great conversations on here, being stupid and silly with everyone. I hardly think of it as simply a board to discuss my love of SSC product, but also as a gathering of my collector buddies.

I think that if you judge SSC as a company by the customers they keep... They would rate very high. I've never been a part of something that I thought was cool enough to warrant so much of my time.....or money. So being one of the "freaks" is an honor that I am happy to declare to anyone.

I was too afraid to see the movie. I figured it had to be like the Jogger Motel on SNL. You know, kids go in to see the movie... they never come out!

Are we talking about Jabba's fat dancing woman?
