Yeah, I was three.... but when I got older and watched it again... (around 12) I still thought she was hot. :D

Y'know...THIS is why I love this board so much. We come on, write in a serious topic... discussing things that we are very concerned about.. And then we spiral off into silly mini-topics that calm us down and make us laugh.

We are a very "behaved" board when you really look at it, many of us treating each other as close friends... It's cool. I have had such great conversations on here, being stupid and silly with everyone. I hardly think of it as simply a board to discuss my love of SSC product, but also as a gathering of my collector buddies.

I think that if you judge SSC as a company by the customers they keep... They would rate very high. I've never been a part of something that I thought was cool enough to warrant so much of my time.....or money. So being one of the "freaks" is an honor that I am happy to declare to anyone.

Ditto. That was beautifully said, DA... :monkey2 :monkey2 :monkey2

Never Ending Story was cool. I loved that movie as a kid.

I think SS should make a figure of all the characters from the movie. I like falgor :chew , and of course the princess :monkey5 , hey I was only 9 whenI saw that movie.

Another movie I'd loved as a kid and I bought it toda on DVD actually was Williow.

Willow wasn't bad. The one I've been pining to see again is Labrynth. Jennifer Connely, muppets, a shaggy dog and an 70's pop idol who constantly plays with his balls. Great formula!

Actually, if you watch the behind-the-scenes stuff on the DVD, you'll discover someone else is juggling Bowie's balls. It takes a professional, you know.

I'm a huge Dark Crystal fan. I rmeember when they were talking about doing a Skeksis and a Mystic for the Jen and Kira fgures. That would have been awesome!!

Can't believe they're making a sequel to the Dark Crystal...

I didn't see Labirynth until I was in high school and I just couldn't down with it. Mind you I'm a pretty big Bowie fan, but his package was way too prominent in a kids movie for my taste.

But Never Ending Story and Dark Crystal were the shiznit (before that was a word) when I was a kid... saw both in the theaters and was blown away. I actually just caught Never Ending Story the other day, still holds up.

BTW anyone see the robot chicke Neverending Party? Totally rocks hard!
And if you haven't here it is on You Tube: Neverending Party
And great custom figs in my opinion!

I can't believe it either, is that for real or are you just messin' round? I wonder if a remake would even be any good... its hard to capture the feel of a movie from that time.

That is correct. It is called contact juggling. :D

I am a warehouse of useless information.:monkey1

Its for real. The creator of the Clone Wars cartoons, Genndy Tartofsky (sp), is directing. It'll have CG landscapes but all the characters will still be puppets.
