IT'S ABOUT TIME! Michael Jackson Moonwalker coming to Blu-ray June 2010!

I did not hear of any 3D scenes that are to be extras but that would be mindblowing! :eek I am all for Moonwalker in 3D! I hope this is true!

Well the original listing on HMV website stated it contained and extended version of the Vinton claymation sequence and a 3D sequence/short.

I haven't seen that info since (u can find ref for it online) I wonder have they changed the contents.

That comentary is not from HMV Uk, it came a few years ago from a critic (Hal Erickson) from All Movie Guide who was talking about the dvd release. When he talked about 3d he was talking about the Clay stop motion scene wich was created with 3d fxs:

Well, It looks like the Japan Edition of the Moonwalker Blu-ray also comes with a Movie Poster and a Bonus Scene! I cannot wait to get mine! :chew As I stated before Japan has always had the best promos for Michael Jackson! I am going to have my poster framed! :chew

the movie looks beautiful!!
This is the best looking version of Moonwalker I have ever seen!!!
Unfortunately de BD comes only with the trailer and movie, no extras whatsoever, and yes, the scenes we mentioned earlier in the thread are indeed gone.
With that said, I absolutely loved it!!!

My Moonwalker VHS has one of Michael's Pepsi adds before the film starts. This is another thing that was cut from the DVD and Blu-ray. However, Now that I look back on it, The Moonwalker VHS with the Pepsi add on it was a store Exclusive if I remember right. This was back when I bought it in 1989.

I cannot remember what store it was.

Kuzeh I think this is the Pepsi add that is on my Moonwalker VHS.

It sucks that they edited Moonwalker...
but I guess the Estate found that scene a bit to "controversial" given the situation surrounding MJ's death?...

And I'm sure we'll eventually get a Thriller BD...
I just hope they restore the film and it gets a good transfer...
