These are no bigger than 2 meters. They are actually smaller than 2 meters. Therefore no contridiction.
Yes, but:::

... And I wonder if Womp rat's shouldn't be bigger? Luke once said: "I used to bullseye womp rats in my T-16 back home. They're not much bigger than two meters". Doesn't that make you think that these beast are at least one meter big? I think a Womp Rat should be at least the same size of Budo...

OK, someone has to say it...

His arms are too long!

:D

3 notes:

LE 1500
Size: TBD
No articulation but they don't need to be IMO

but it would have been nice to see shoulder joints for Bubo or maybe his mouth could open... :monkey1

The Budo Creature pack is about seven dollars more than the Salacious creature pack. Guess that has got to do something with the fact that Budo is an Limited edition with an fixed ES of 1500, whereas Salaciuos was an inclusive edition and probably had an higher run? SSC could sell more of the Salacious CP and there fore get more $$ out of it?

Or the inclusive edition of the Salacious creature pack also sold about 1500 times?

I think you are correct--there were probably a lot more Salacious packs produced, and a smaller production run on Bubo means a higher price. Plus the leather and chain--but you might expect that to balance out the articulation, bendy tongue and magnet of the other set. Who knows...

Okay, joining late... and too lazy to read posts. But, damn, $40 is a lot of Green from Mr. Bubo!?! Of course I still bought him, but I'm a bit sticker shocked :google

On the plus side, looks pretty cool and I like the "scratching womprat" :lol

It doesn't matter much to me how large they are supposed to be and whether they're accurate to the source material that is out there, I really like what Sideshow did with them.
The design looks more imaginative then the one in the Wildlife of Star Wars book and I think they have far more character then Bubo or the Rock Wort has.
I feel Sideshow designed and sculpted some remarkable looking little creatures.
I wonder who the artist is that sculpted them?

That wildlife of SW book looks cool, may have to track one of those down!

The artwork style is different than what you would usually see in a Star Wars book, but it is designed as a field guide/sketch book with drawings and notes by someone who is supposedly in the field observing these animals in their natural environment. The cover is faux Dewback hide.

The author was one of the artists who designed Jar-Jar and other Ep. I creatures, and you might recognize her style from the "Art of Episode I" book that was released a while back.

Yeah, with a set size that will effect the price for sure. Not to mention Bubo looks bigger than Salacious.

Is it a pricey book?

It's a large hardcover "coffee table" kind of book. I think Amazon sells it for about $27.

I have a feeling that it will come in handy as Sideshow continues to produce the creature packs.

It's well worth it. It has great artwork. The textured cover is cool too.
