Every once in a while they pop up on FS thread, seen a couple for $75, sometimes shipped. I'm sure they will be here and there on the secondary market from some Freaks wanting to get out of the Joe line but not me, I'll never leave this line no matter what happens.

I'll never dump it either (unless the character choices start to get more WTF?! but then I'll likely cherry-pick). These figures are Sideshow's best. I've noticed a trend in the "pro HT" camp of Sideshow's 1:6 bashing douchebags around here. It seems like every time they talk about how poorly Sideshow does their 1:6, none of them own any Joes, yet seem to be experts on their quality.

If that dorky toxic zombie figure you posted yesterday is representative of what was "cool" with the post-1986 JOE stuff, I'm gonna side with the Post-1986 = Crap crowd.

Absolutely no need for Thread #1. You can count the amount of JOE fans who like anything about ROC on one hand. The sooner that garbage exits the collective consciousness the better.

I'm sure we'll be seeing a sequel to that piece of poo pop up right around the time that we have finally scrubbed most of our knowledge of the original out of our collective brains.

And then, just like the Transformers movie statue that Sideshow is doing, I'm sure that we will get ROC PFs and other statues. And even though most of us supposedly hate that crap, people will buy them anyway and they will sell out and Sideshow will make more. Then, Sideshow will make ROC 1/6 scale characters based on the success of the statues. And people will complain here, but just like Firefly, many of us will buy them anyway and they will sell out and more will be made.

The difference is most of the Transformers movie designs were mostly received well and the movies made TONS of money. ROC wasn't and while it did make some 300 mil world wide, it didn't light up the Box Office.
