Everything new last year was Cobra too.

Maybe we'll luck out and they'll pull a Baroness with Destro. He'll pre-order next SDCC with a short jacket, muscle body, better boots and a mask that belongs on a Destro figure. Not that I particularly mind the regular head, but if I'm gonna wait, might as well hope for the best.

Cobra sells. Cobra is cooler. The bad guys always are.

Yeah, they're more unique and, like you said, just cooler. I imagine the designers have more fun with the Cobras because the Joes are more or less standard military figures. That said, it'd be nice to see a bit more variety when it comes to the green shirts.

You're goddamn right.

That settles it then. In a bold move, Sideshow Collectibles changes the direction of their award winning 1:6 scale action figures line! G.I. Joe A Real American Hero has been deserted! Their new line of product, COBRA. A Real Terrorist A-hole, though only teased through a few poorly photoshopped pics recently, has been fully revealed today at SDCC 2013. Recently abandoned 1:6 Joe figure, Snow Job, had this to say:

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeehehehehe. Year of the snake.

I thought I would just throw this in here instead of making a whole thread for the comment...

I couldn't help but notice how very little effort Sideshow put in to the GI Joe display at this year's Comic-Con compared to the previous years and this year's Star Wars difplay.

A Sideshow representative who wishes to remain anonymous had this say about this year's GI JOE display @ the SDCC.

"Those <CENSORED>ing whiny collectors need to learn shut the <CENSORED> up. They should be kissing our @ $ $ es for the figures we're still barely working on. Thanks to their blind loyalty & stupidity of paying out of their @ $ $ es over the years on the figures we did release they should be appreciative. We're too busy raping the wallets of every dumb@ $ $ collectors with our products and we'll looking forward to screwing everyone over with our ongoing deals with HOT TOYS and the new stuff from DC & MARVEL COMICS. We might as well let the arrangement with HASBRO lapse and have them design & make such $h*tty figures that all those whiny collectors will beg us to acquire the arrangement again."

After making that comment, he turned back to the many people drooling over the many displays and taking photos.

;) :p
