Its time for the next Joe!

It doesn't matter that there's still a week left. They've already revealed how many new product slots there are and there's only a couple that could be for GI Joe. We could get lucky but I think we all know not to get our hopes up. I'm sure we'll see Beach Head before the end of the year but this week would sure be nice.

Don't look at the product slots as how many we'll get. They've been adding and removing additional slots all night. Again, poly dio went from one, to three, down to two, back to one, and now it's sitting at two again, with a blank and the Faux Diplo dio.

The other crappy thing is the same item takes two slots...i.e. the Spider-Women Bust exclusive and regular or the Hulkbuster comiquette exclusive and regular. I guess technically they're seperate products, but still...

You're right. I was wondering what the other PF might be but the two slots are probably just the Talon ex and reg.

Agree. They need to do what Mattel does and show stuff or at least announce them and their projected order date. It's not like they have GIJoe competition to be secretive about.

Just come out and say something like Beachhead in November, Firefly in January ect.

I'd even be fine if they just said "a new figure in November, January, etc," without telling us who.

The concept of momentum with their licenses/lines is clearly lost on Sideshow. They nearly killed their INDY license and arguably did kill LOTR 1:6 because of that. They've got something special here with their JOE figures, so it'd be a real shame to punt it away by piddly-farting around.

everybody says LOTR didn't sell and that is why it tanked. but i seem to remember the first 3 figures sold out in a snap of the fingers. it was only after they slowed the line down to a crawl and started releasing PF's, Dio's, and LSB's that people lost interest. i can see the same happening here. especially if they are gonna start dividing resources on PF's and Dio's. i want figures. gi joes are action figures last i looked.

I don't see sales of the Joe line going down because of the slow release. Joe figures are by far more popular than LOTR.

And SS did tell us they planned 4 figures a year. Would like 5-6 myself.

They could though right? People over time change especially people in our age group. (Im assuming most of us are in there 30's) Lets be honest, there are not to many early 20 year olds eating this stuff up. So as we grow older and move on in life, different things become important. Collecting nostalgic figs is probably one fo the first to go. For me it will be anyway.

So SS shoudl strike the iron while its hot. Who gives a ^^^^ about Disneyana, put your resouces into what sells now. I dont believe this run out of options to early garbage, there is like 100 Joes they could do.

I'd actually love it they went old school and starting putting the box art images of upcoming fig on the back of released figs boxes so we know who to expect next with each fig we buy. So like the back of Dukes box wouldn show firefly and spirit or somthing like that.

Ya that would be cool if they were actually a surprise.

The difference is when Hasbro did it, you had no idea what was coming out. By the time we see whats on the Duke box, you will have known about that figure and already pre ordered it.

this line just seems super slow for me cuz it's the only line i'm collecting besides the MOTU figures, and 1 or 2 SW figures here and there.

Yup, Joes and the various HT figures are about it for me. Hasn't been a SW figure I've wanted since Lando.

Why do they have another two different sections for the 1:6 figures? Is the next one Zombie related, so they kept them together?

they started with just 3 slots. they squeezed the bolier zombies in there. i'm guessing the 2 slots that are together will be the same figure Ex. and Reg.
