I enjoyed the episode tonight, and am actually liking this back and forth episode order between worlds we've been getting so far. Plus it's nice to see the alternate Fringe opening credits in red.
Next week looks like it's gonna be awesome!!!!!

Yep i'm loving the switching back and forth episodes as well. This season has been really great so far.

What's with all the pen talk this season? like when peter said "do you want me to fix the pen?" in episode 1 and then last week there was graffiti on a door that said "the pen is mightier than the sword" now we've just had an episode with more pens.

You're also right that the opening credits in red look great! Now i need to go find the preview for next week.

Well, in a way, this is almost two shows in one, and I am kinda digging it. Cast is HUGE this season, so our regulars - except Liv have been taking it easy. Peter has only been in one full ep so far, for example.

I absolutely love Fringe but I HATE that it's taking up to 6 weeks off for baseball playoffs, a month off for xmas break and probably a few weeks here and there like they did last season.

Yeah, hating the broadcast schedule...and Fox wonders why the show is losing its audience. Last I checked, Fringe ratings are bad...like maybe not make another season bad

Bones did 9.13 million viewers; Fringe 5.22 - people are just not watching this in the same way

I'm dutifully watching each episode as it airs on tv. This is something I rarely do nowadays.

As long as the third season wraps things up nicely with the Alternate universe storyline, I think I'd be okay (I wouldn't be happy, but okay) if Fringe were to end there.

This show could do SO much better if they didn't take so many breaks. Here's a blurb I found on how it affected season 2's ratings:

The show’s second season featured breaks after episodes five, eight, ten, and fourteen, and the viewership quite obviously suffered. Episode 2.05, “Dream Logic,” mustered up 7.57 million viewers before taking a two week break; episode 2.06 returned with almost 3 million viewers less, at 4.95 million. The same happened after episode 2.14, “Jacksonville,” which managed 7.41 million viewers — the show returned two months later with “Peter,” one of the show’s best episodes which only managed 5.84 million. After that, the ratings never rose above 7 million viewers again.

I don't understand why viewership would be down because they take a break. if you like a show you watch it! I like the breaks, then I can catch up on other things. Loving how the characters (shapechangers) are changing being in different worlds. Great episode.

Yeah anyone that doesn't come back to a great show like this because it's been on a break isn't a true fan anyway! unless they are just waiting for the dvd of course.
