Families seem that way on occasion.
Still, I didn't get that feeling. McCoy loathes everybody. Kirk and Spock didn't get along until the end. The rest of them seemed fine.

Rumor I heard is that when Cumberbatch attacks earth he kills all of Kirks remaining family, mom included. Just rumors though.

I didn't, for me Montgomery Scott will always be James Doohan, although i will say its still early days for Pegg's version.

Really enjoyed the clip at the beginning of the Hobbit. Looks like it's going to be super action packed. Not your average Star Trek movie.

Well it wasn't really a preview, literally the first 9 minutes of the film so it was a very action packed, thrilling opening sequence. Really-really GREAT!
They do tease us in a sense with Cumberbatch first appaerance, where he appears to a greaving parent over his ailing daughter and says, "I can heal her" and the father replies, "who are you?" and... cut! They give us nothing! Still awesome!
