Kinda dumb from a profit standpoint IMO. 6000 reg & 1500-2000 ex would have made more sense. Don't hate I am not saying I want big ES, I suppose SS is thinking Mary Janes T&A will sell more than the (Spider)man himself.

I meant the same numbers for MJ and Gwen and 8000 total for Spidey.

The Omnibus is a reprint, so it was already out there (aside from being digital, too). It was first released as the Ultimate Spider-Man Collection back when there were no Omnibus. I couldn't believe when I walked into B&N and scooped this for cover price $50.

I wish they could cram more into those things. How many issues were in the first one? 30?

It all comes down to costs. My AMS and UXM Vol 1s are HUGE! A recent trip to the comic store showed me the current reprints, they're almost half the size, but same page count. Thinner pages. With the thinner pages, if they wanted to match the size of the original books, there'd be A LOT of comic in them. But the price would be crazy.

I think the Ultimate Spiderman Omnibus i have is like...1000 pages. Biggest Omnibus I think I own.
