I want to get a digital prescription to Marvel. Anyone have one of those? That way I can take everything on the go.

Marvel Universe subscription is ok. But they only let you load up 6 issues at a time for offline reading.

There's a 6 month delay for new books with the sub. Great for catching up on older story lines though.

Can't wait for this. Been a JSC fan since Gen 13 and Spidey is my favourite character. I met JSC at LSCC this year for the first time. Very nice guy. I even got a sketch. Well technically my friend is one of the organizers and he got it and then sold it to me for the price he paid as he knew i was a huge fan and lined up both days of the con to try get one but JSC was only picking 5 people at random.

I wish he was coming next year. I would love to get these statues signed. Oh here is my sketch.

I use the comixology app on my tablet. Access to all DC and marvel same day as print. My only complaint is they charge same prices as print copies...not sure if marvel sub is discounted because clearly it costs less for a digital version of something vs having to produce a physical product.

Marvel Universe sub is $60 or so for all access per year. Comixology I only use for the free issues they do and TPBs.

Agreed. I stopped buying the digital a few months back because I felt a) they def shouldn't cost the same as a hard copy, books don't. b) the collecting aspect went away for me without the hard in hand copies.

Agree completely. Only problem is the room taken over by my now scaled down collection consisting of 30 plus long boxes. Digital has it's appeal but I don't see myself going that way.

Not to my knowledge... The old tricks don't work anymore. Honestly I think it is because SSC is no longer doing the zoom galleries with pieces. I think the High Res pics were used to propagate those.

Thanks for the info on the digital subscription, all. I found another 'version' on the Marvel website for $20ish cheaper that didn't include a fancy figure and case, etc. I think I'll go that route.
