I definitely think we'll see a NEW Spidey piece, before we ever see a variant of the last comiquette.

I really liked the comiquette, but I think the window for a variant has passed. (as much as I'd like to see one.)

Not as long as they still have the molds. Honestly, I would rather get a WHOLE NEW statue then a variant of the Com. Koto managed to get him flying threw the air, shooting a web, and looking super dynamic. I should think SSC should be able to d it better...

Looks like some kind of dio. The image obscured also shows captain america and the other sculpture is in the same pose as cap is in that pic.

Not quit in the pic Caps bent leg is back, and the sculpt his bent leg is forward... The sculpt looks more like the sculpt for the BIB to me actually.

The size does look like it could be a 1/5 dio like Thanos & Mistress Death.

The 1/4 scale Com Spidey is a lot bigger than the sculpt he is holding so it might be 1/5 or a dio.

I see the finished Iceman Com in the background, which indicates this is a newer sculpture being worked on.

Since the figure being sculpted seems to be in web shooting motion, it does appear to be a new Spidey.

It doesn't look bigger than the 1/5 Iceman which is in the background...the Spider-Man Com is slightly too big, might the new Spidey be too small? Still, it doesn't look diorama small.

I know older collectors with the Spidey Com don't want a new 1/4 scale /PF, but even with having the Com now I still can't wait for another 1/4 Spidey...even realizing a new one could hurt the price of the Comiquette depending on how it's done.

The problem is the pose on this one isn't different enough from the com. One leg up, one leg down, bent over and shooting a web...only difference is they reversed the lefs, and he's shooting with both arms instead of one arm on the wall. All the cool ideas and new approaches out there they could do, and for them to go so similar again is very disappointing.

Also, the sculpt on the green padding is different...and the pic in the background right behind the new Spidey sculpt has Cap on the bottom and Spidey swinging behind him...could these be companion pieces? Maybe it's a 1/5 Cap/Spidey dio?

Top left black and white photo looks like what's being sculpted. It's on a wall. Very similar to the Com.

1/5 are for Comiquettes only now, but since there hasn't been a new Com in a while and since Spider-Man Coms have nearly all been 1/4 then i assume this is a 1/5-1/6 dio

Have you seen the Conan dios? They are very big amd 1/5 scale

I've seen pics but not in person. 1/5 for single statues will always look small next to a 1/4 PF, but for a dio 1/5 is pretty big.

I'm not ruling anything out because I don't know what's really going on here, but this appears to be a 1/5 scale Cap/Spidey dio to me at the moment. Which I'd be very excited for if so.

I hope we do get a new Spidey PF because I'd buy it, but I hope this isn't it. The new Spidey PF should at least not be leaning forward...SS has done Spidey bent over leaning forward for the PF, The Com, even the Life Size Bust. It also shouldn't be on a wall.

I'd like it to be 1/4, but honestly, I'm wouldn't mind a 1/5 scale piece. It will pose nicely on the desk or something, without taking up a ton of space.

As long as it isn't a Dio I'm in. I would prefer it to be 1/4 but beggars can't be choosers
