Thats awesome! Getting both! Wonder if there will be a Wolvy JSC piece he did a really cool illustration of him

Just caved a preordered the Gwen statue. While, in my opinion, not as strong as Spidey/marry jane its still nice. With a upcoming black cat statue having 3 out of 4 would be silly. I just know I'd regret not having her in the future....now...to find some shelf space....

I didn't PO any of them but out of MJ and Gwen, I actually like Gwen better. I think she is an amazing sculpt. MJ looks good too but the Gwen COM feels like a scene of a story. I just love the flow of the sculpt.

Great set but just too small. Only Spidey for me.

Yeah, I passed on him also because I already have the original COM. I'm trying to stay away from 1/5 scale now. SSC all but dumped their COMs for the most part. We haven't seen anything outside the Campbell line and that's supposed to stop with Black Cat. The only other Com I can see myself buying is an AH classic Storm COM. However, that's not happening because SSC dropped the Hughes COM line. It's a shame. I have all of his X-Ladies and the only glaring omission is Storm. I can't believe SSC dropped the line before they released an AH Storm.

Igo from SF and a sideshow designer said there were plans to continue the campbell line, not just in the spidey-verse

For me atm there is very little space. I prefer the smaller sizes not sure why PF's have to be so big. I don't own any PF's either so at least scale wise i don't care. I may get some PF's but that's a long way in the future. Gonna be interesting trying to find space when i eventually get the black cat x.x

Well I didn't say that, he said beyond the spidey characters...I personally would like more spidey characters and a wolverine would be cool

Once you have 1:4, 1:3, 1:2 & 1:1 it's tough to buy smaller, just doesn't have the impact as a display.

All lines based on artists die. Brooks, Hughes, and Cho (announced but never started)...gone. Has there been another Olivetti piece sneaked or talked about? Campbell will last for a few pieces and then he'll be gone too. When I talk about COMs, I'm talking about them as a whole. The line is practically dead. Look at how many PFs have been released the last 2 years. In that time, how many COMs were released outside of the Campbell line? SSC was much better off making the COM line 1/4 fully sculpted pieces. Everyone would buy those. Instead, they paid for a 1/5 license from Marvel that they barely use. Believe me, if COMs were selling there would be a lot more offered from SSC.

Well technically their comiquettes meant all sculpted, which is poison ivy apocalypse I am sure there are more..they just said they are in the pf line now if 1:4....venom carnage an spidey to name a few were also comiquettes and were 1:4, comiquettes (1:5) in general may be slowing down but I am sure the line isn't dead, it's just pf's are usually much more popular

I think anything 1/5 is now considered a COM and generally are fully sculpted (unless someone knows of one that isn't?), while PFs are all 1/4 regardless of whether they have mixed media or not.
