Agreed some folks are OCD but if you're creative you can section off an area for a display for 1/5 1/6 1/4 1/2 and on and on and on!

I have my entire Thor stuff on one area and it's all different sizes and I think it looks great.

I truly hope Spidey looks 80% as good as the girls and cant wait for Felicia. Though, to be honest, I dont think I'd want any other than those 4.

Ooh here's a good question. Would an Aunt May be something that any of you would be interested in? On the one hand it would add to the women in Pete's life which would be kind of sweet, on the other it might kill the sexy demeanor of the other girls. (obviously she wouldnt be hot lol)

oh heavens no! Would love a stylized 1/5th Doc Oc though. I would prob spring for that.

I think for the majority, this wont matter. For some yes but if this matches the proto remotely we will see a tough one to get your hands on a la 1/4th com.

I think it matters more than you would think. I have seen quit a few MJs up for sale here and in the other house and the main reason I have seen is she just doesn't fit in with their collection, and that is the scale talking m8. I know you have your Hulk Com so you have something to play him off of, but not everyone else will. In the end the price of the original Com has increased by about $400-$600 just since SSC teased this Com at SDCC. I honestly think it has only increased the demand for the 1/4, not based on quality mind you, simply because of the size.

I was a big proponent of same scale for bit, however, when you see the hulk com in person it easy to justify keeping certain pieces regardless of scale cuz they are just that good. Even if it's one piece. Food for thought.

I own the EX of the first Com and have the JSC Ex coming very soon. I've said this before and I will say it again that the first com is more of a standalone piece because of its size. I think more people will find the JSC Spiderman fitting nicer with their dioramas and set ups. Does this mean I'm selling my Spidey com? Heck no! I'm just glad we have multiple pieces of certain characters to choose from.

Scale was one thing i never really understand. I have statues as big as the Obi Mythos to as small as Bishoujo black cat with Kotobukiya The Amazing Spider-Man in the middle. If i like what i see i get it. I don't go AWESOME!!!!!! oooooooooooo doesn't fit with my Spider-man too bad, it was so perfect. It just seems silly limiting to collect a single size.

There are big statues that are terrible looking and amazing looking just like the smaller ones. Why does size seem to determine its worth and not its craftsmanship? Personally i very much dislike the Spidey com that people pay thousands for. It's far too big to fit anywhere but worse then that they forgot he has a face under his mask and gave him some kinda dome head. His base is amazing but he doesn't seem to match it. It's dark dirty and matte with he is shiny clean cartoon looking. Which is fine if the base to me didn't look so heavily based in realism.

A better spider-man statue in my opinion may come along but blasphemy its too small! Sacrilege! It had to much potential too....It feels like the only reason its so revered is because it's the only one of its size. I personally don't understand it.

People like what they like. Ain't no changing that. A big reason I'm sticking to 1/4 scale statues only is because it will limit my purchasing. I don't have the funds to just buy everything I see that I like, so choosing one scale early on has forced me to make better decisions when purchasing. If money wasn't an issue, of course I would buy what ever the hell I wanted. But sadly it is.... Haha

I'm sure there are thousands of reasons for collecting 1 size/scale though...

hmmmm ic ic well i for sure don't have money to buy everything. However i wont pass on something that i really want just because it doesn't fit. I would much rather get one that didn't fit the scale then one that did but i like less. However it seems to me people do the opposite.

Oh don't get me wrong I am not trying to say that this line doesn't have a lot of guys excited. I have seen MJ in person, and she is gorgeous. If they continue with the level of quality I have seen with her and how Gwen appears, than this Spidey will be very well recieved. Heck I wish I was getting him.

Well I have it and I love it, and I think the fact that it is a Gore Group fully sculpted Spiderman, that looks AMAZING in person is one of the reasons it is loved so much. However, that is just my opinion. As for scale well the Koto Spiderman Unleashed is one of the best pieces I have seen to date.

If displaying different size scales next to each other bothers people then they should keep 1:5 scale statues on one shelf and 1:4 scale statues on another, problem solved...
