Been away from the boards for a couple of days and take a peek over at SF and see this update!

Awesome! Cant wait!

Not going to get into any kind of debate, but for me, the paint on this one takes it to a whole other level. Hopefully they pull off a close semblance to that on the factory floor. Add that to the Gwen and MJ and you have one fine Spidey Universe setup.

Lol ... The fastest way to start a debate is to say you don't want to get in one... Lol. I will agree with you that the paint job looks very good. For me it isn't on a "whole other level" as I would say SSC has done some amazing paint work, Skaar comes to mind, but I think I give the piece a more uniquely comic book feel, which isn't something I personally have seen on an SSC piece before. Bowen yes.... SSC no.

I think when people refer to the paint apps they are refering to the style. It is a very different looking style for SSC. Just look at MJ. It is the paint that seperate this from the rest of the Spidey statues out there.

The EX really does nothing for me personally. I can't imagine I would ever display him with his mask half off and a smirk. I would have rather had him with his mask completely off. How often have we seen Spidey in action with his mask rolled up like that? If he had a sandwich or a drink and was taking a lunch break on the wall then I could see this COH working. As is, it just seems pointless to me. This is one of those EX pieces that would just stay in the box for me. The rest of the piece looks pretty good. The paint apps look very good. Hopefully that's what we see in the production pieces.

Maybe, if you are getting the set. However, I'm not a big enough Spidey fan (and space is getting tight) to pick up MJ or Gwen. This would be a stand alone piece for me so the EX would just stay in the box.

Just because you are the biggest Spider-man fan in the world and this is a must have for you doesn't mean everyone feels the same.
This is my third favourite line, after Predator and Avengers, and money and space are tight so purchases need careful consideration.
You obviously have no problem expressing your opinions to everyone who'll listen so why don't you grant others the same privilege without jumping on them?
My advice to you, you seem to like telling others what to do, order it, wait for it to arrive and enjoy it but most importantly STFU!!!
