Yes, CustomMikey ripped out his arms and added ball joints. I don't remember how he did it or if he ever posted a true tutorial. He did it immediately when Jabba was released.

Thanks, was initially thinking of prying the arms if everyone else had this Jabba articulation.

Sculpt-wise, I think it's impeccable. I think the only thing more you could do would be to use a soft rubber skin over a framework to allow for more poseability, and maybe add an opening mouth and moving eyes. I don't see Sideshow doing that, considering that all of their large creatures have just been polystone. Hot Toys maybe.

Agreed. Sideshow wouldn't even attempt to make Jabba like this again. They'd go Polystone for a higher sculpt detail... and higher price.

Aside from the paint, I think sideshow really nailed Jabba.
