I think Customikey may have done a repaint, maybe not full, but some work.

I JUST finished my Jabba repaint. These are just some quick and dirty shots.

I also broke and reset his left arm. I'm not quite done yet. Jabba's finished, but I've begun work on the throne now. You can see the banister and pipe are darkened already. Salacious will also get a repaint.

Can't wait to see if JabbaFan follows through on those pillows!

Great pictures guys. I love my Sideshow Jabba, but the poor dude has been in storage for over a year now due to lack of space, so it is nice to see him in other people's collections.

VERY nice repaint, makes it look so much better. I was disappointed with the Sideshow paintjob considering the price.

I need to do that to mine eventually, but I've got way to many projects going on right now to tackle it.

Okay, I've re-done the eyes. I was not at all satisfied with them!

I also added more mung and slobber, and touched up the tattoo.

I also repainted Salacious, and dremeled the banister so that the pipe would fit in the proper direction. It's not quite flush yet, but my landlord would complain if I did any more dremeling tonight!

those eyes, they look so much better now,.........something they could have done in the first place,...and you even dared going ahead and re-doing the left arm,...looks like the real thing advertised, why havent they gone through with it in the first place!?
and the pipebowl looks correct now, so I dont get it ....why do they have all the trouble, and release something like this, and all the little details are messed up!?
and then , being a perfectionist like some of us here, we are the ones that have to go ahead and do it properly,...by changing the figurine, cut and glue, repaint,...why havent they done it right in the first place!?!....they surely have the means....
I need to re-do my Jabbas eyes too, but need to study them a bit more, and I'll be using Humbrol Enamel paints, instead of Tamyia....acrilic...and yes, those pillows ar not forgotten, my mother went ahead the other day, and brought some more "Reptile Skin" fabric, guess shes into this Jabba env. thing too...
I'll keep you guys informed, dont worry,....the to private messages I got are guaranteed, you guys will be the first to know,...I plan on offering now a set of:

one large cushion (to place under the figurine)
two medium square cushions for the throne area
one smaller cushion for Leias figurine or just to be there too...

Good to know about those pillows!

I've been wanting to repaint Jabba for a while, but he's such a ginormous project, that I'd been putting it off. Now that he's done and I'm (mostly) satisfied, maybe I'll tackle that Dewback in my closet!

I don't mind all the sanding, cutting, painting, and gluing. It's my fun, but I know that's not for everybody.

Yeah, I'm not seriously collecting any lines now. But Jabba was a grail for me, and though I'm getting rid of most everything I collected over the next few months, I've never considered letting him go. I've always loved him, since I was a kid. I went back to my first posts in this thread, and I can honestly say that everything I said is still absolutely true.

For me, he IS Return of the Jedi. He's the guy who was featured on my lunchbox. Jabba is engrained in my SW iconography near the very top, right behind Vader and The Emperor.

Owww you guys! I really can't really afford it and the Mrs is gonna KILL me. I got some parcels today a medi stomie a sandie from FQRizzo and a Obi Wan from Minigt!!!! The Mrs was so excited for me and said, "Go on Mark rip them open I can not wait to see your new dollies, OW Wow another storm trooper, you can never have too many of those, OOWW Wow another sandtrooper fantastic. So maybe Jabba is not such a good idea. he is £90 on Amazon but the throne is really expensive! I will have to get Galacticboy to knock me up one of his splendid Gamorrean guards.

When I eventually get a jabba I will have no choice but to build a throne room.

I remember when I first joined the forum and some one posted plans for jabbas palace.

Has any one still get them.
