In regards to the scabbard (item that you don't know where it goes), it slides into the part of the baldric (chest belt) that you have on his back. If it can be futzed, it should be closer to, if not, on his hip:

Jack Sparrow looks great guys! Congrats to those who have him coming. Love the dark shading around the eyes this time compared to the first...and great dynamic pose! Whats the tailoring like anyone?

I like the facial expression in this one much better than the first statue, fits the character perfectly with his little smirk. The likeness is also a lot better. Not sure about the pose though...

Wow... I am BLOWN away right now. This PF is magnificent (and that's even an understatement). Sideshow really hit this one out of the park and pulled out on all the stops. Not only is the sculpt fantastic, but the tailoring is superb. Jack is layered from head to toe with all of his clothing (which flows so nicely). Furthermore, the detail is remarkable. He has all of his rings and accessories (including the fury thing on his belt, shrunken head, etc). Sideshow even included the "P" brand on his left wrist! The EX bandana is great too, it can definitely spice up the display. I currently have mine with the bandana on.

I took a bunch of pics, I'll post them later tonight or tomorrow. Oh and did I comment how good the base is? The dynamic pose plus the base makes this piece come to life. So happy right now!

Comparing old SDCC pics and these new in hand pics, I realized, SS did change the sculpt quite a bit if not completely. Even some of the dread's look slightly different and less "snake" like and the hat seems a bit more accurate as well. Surprised as usually from my experience with SS products, things hardly get altered in the end
