Thanks again for the critique on version 1. I've made some changes and I think it's more what I want the sculpt to be. I still have some sanding to do, and he needs to be primed properly (I ran out of primer)... but here he is. To compare v.1.2 to 1.0... (newer one on the right)

Defined the lips more as Rogerbee suggested, softened the cheekbones and age lines like K07 and platty suggested, added to tip of his nose like gido suggested... and I added a bit more weight to his jawline because I didn't like the width of his temples compared to the width of his jaw. Also rounded out his forehead so it doesn't slope back as sharply.

The upper lip, like on the original, still needs to be softened. There's too much definition under the nose - the depth and edges are too great/sharp. It can be seen well in all the images, but it's extremely apparent and glaring in the profiles. Otherwise nice improvements in 1.2

Does the iminime sculpt,s come under sized ? I hope not they are not cheap to buy. I haven,t bought any iminime head sculpts to compare, but I do have their cowboy fig on order. Looks like BBkills our best bet and the pic he posted was amazing, lets hope it comes out that way and correct head size for Craig,s . Body wise I tried out my toys city suit on a muscle body and it still fits perfectly, looks even better for a Skyfall Bond fig, just waiting for a good DC sculpt and presto!!!

That to me looks undersized, particularly with the HT figures next to it. And now look at this pic of their Michael Corleone:



That looks tiny, emphasised by the hat. I could trust them to do a good likeness, but, we could have another Simplz head on our hands. They're still trying to raise interest for the Craig head, which doesn't even exist yet.

Until someone restores our faith in DID or can get BBKill going again we may have a long wait for a decent DC....

Not all the iminime heads are undersized. Morgan freeman, Neo, Hannibal, rhas, Alfred, ripley, all perfect.

Michael Corleone, Brad Pitt, Patrick Bateman etc. undersized

Agent Smith: freakishly too big.

BBkills print of his latest craig and his first Craig were undersized also.

The thing is that I think there's only been one head that looks as much like Craig as the latest BBKill and that's the private Adam one.

Iminime did sculpt a Craig head by the way, that's the thing you see on top of the stock ZCWO body. You can tell its the same guy who sculpted Agent Smith. And IMO its bad.

Iminimes unreleased version was the best we've seen before Adam and the latest BBkill, but the sculptor no longer works for them.

Case in point I conclude that the logical attainable sculpt to pursue is B Kill we need enough people PMing and emailing him to release it otherwise he won't.

From what I've seen, Iminime are on the pricey side and you'd still have to either paint it yourself or pay someone.

DID should be capable of work equal to or better than the majority of painters out there. Until we see more than a crappy phone pic the jury is still out.

Let's hope that the best Craig head is one we can all get our hands on. And I would advise against pushing BBKill too much as he has a lot on his plate and we don't want him to burn out and not be able to do anything. He knows we want it, we just have to give him time....

I wish those <CENSORED>ing sellers would take some decent pictures of the <CENSORED>ing head sculpt from the applicable angles instead of quick shots and mixing them with the stock photos.

Still need to see more angles, but, the DID sculpt is not looking quite as bad as we feared.

I wouldn't be lighting the torches just yet!

Dear Leia-i can't understand why, but first one i like more.There is something "Craig -like"in expression,what is miss in updated version.Maybe it depends from shooting angles.About new one-lips seems to sharp.I'l wait for new pics with impatience.Good luck!

better we gave Leia pic reference , so we can see side by side so not to confuse Leia.from first sculpt I was thinking the upper lip below the nose the mustache area was over puffy, maybe someone else can spot some thing else? Not to say Leia not talented cause she has amazing , artistic talent to tackle life like sculpts at this scale is incredibly difficult. Leia u a amazing. All the artist that can tackle these tiny 1/6 scale sculpts are very talented.

You are absolutely write.I always admire their work.Sam spot about compare with that one photo-eyebrow angle should be different.Also-forehead seems to be a bit higher and not so wide(from side to side).And his upper lip corners usual are down.But mostly-his nose between eyes are not so wide, and angle of eyebrow should be a bit sloping.But-bravo, Leia!

Hmm, in hand, this might be as good as it gets. You do have to remember that DID never intended this to be a dead on DC. This is like their Pierre, as close as they dared get.

That's a fact, you don't have to disclaim it only as your opinion. The paint app always made this sculpt look "dead" but the elongated features are a real downer.

That's fair enough,

Now, let's have a look at what we're really dealing with....

DID called this Jack and hinted at Bond, other people thought Bond, expected Daniel Craig and that is why they feel let down. As far as DID are concerned they delivered exactly what they intended to. In their eyes this wasn't actually Bond and still isn't.

This is Bond'esque' and I'm starting to feel that this will do for me...

Better... more like what they showed, so that's good. Still, yes, it's off.

But it's a good starter-Craig for me.

I'm waiting on that Natchan "Enemy" figure to go with this... and that project has gone deathly silent.
