Oh, by the way, Luka has now taken pics of the Simplz sculpt and it is definitely way too small, when a pro like him can't make it look good you know the sculpt is bad.

Great likeness! Though I think the age lines and bags under his eyes and what not could be less prominent? amazing though!

I think it's more the lines at the cheekbone. The profile is great! The size is spot on as well.

There's something off about the mouth to me, the top lip looks like it needs more definition.

Thanks, gents. I already poured the mold, but I might make some tweaks to the cast based on your suggestions and remold if I decide to cast more. Casting tomorrow, painting on Thursday.

In Skyfall, I liked how Bond looked in the MI6 and art gallery scenes specifically. This shot is actually what made me want to sculpt him:

...which I'm aware is where some of you guys thinks he looks old and monkey-like. But I look at it and think he's really interesting looking and [if you'll excuse me for a moment for being a girl] pretty smokin' hot. So that's why the sculpt has the cheekbones that he does.

Hi!It will be nice sculpt, but even from this M16 shot seems to me- his nose ending should be wider and flatter.Usually all Craigs h.s. have to sharp, thin nose.Do you make him unshaved?

I don't like how he's painted, but it helps me see more what I need to fix before I mold again (nasolabial folds are too deep, need to soften the cheekbones further, etc). I also want the head slightly smaller, so I think I'll shrink him again. Bleh, back to work.

Yeah, leia, that looks pretty good for a start (2nd sculpt, right?).

Agree would be nice if we can see different angle of the sculpt, here,s a pic to gauge head size .

After the first pic I posted, I thought maybe I hated the paint-up because the irises of his eyes were too big... so I worked the eyes more and now the corneas are too white. All in all, it's a distractingly bad paint up.

This was the last pic before I ****ed up his eyes:

Looking at the size reference pic from desisandy, his head isn't as off as I thought.

Feel free to nitpick; I'm taking the weekend off to install carpet, but Monday I'll probably get back to work.

Great job for your 2nd headsculpt. If that was a commercially available one, I'd rank it on the higher end of the spectrum. I still don't like the cheekbones, but your reference photo shows them and that's the look you were going for. Good luck on satisfying yourself with the paint. It's not bad at all. Far better than anything I've ever attempted.

The DID agent is on display, been seeing it for a week or so.i don't think the sculpt has a great likeness. The tux looks ok though!

Any display pics? I was kind of hoping DiD would pull through here.

If that doesn't work, I'm at a bit of a loss for Craig now. Are people still counting on the new custom sculpt to come to fruition?

Eeesh. Not liking those pics, but that horrible fluorescent lighting can't be helping.

The idea of a $200 finished custom sculpt (head + paint) isn't appealing to me though.
