I got my DID James Bond yesterday, it wasn't as bad as those new Ebay Photos. scared the crap out of me. On some angles, it looked pretty good. Ill try to post some photos.

No problem my mate, ill try to be as informative as I can.

That sucks that you wouldn't be able to afford the paintwork for bbkill's sculpt. For me, ill find a way to get that head to someone such as Nathan, josh etc. it just deserves it. Ill sell a figure if I have to Bond as a character is huge to me. I hope you find a way buddy!

I repainted my SSC Alex Trevelyan.

(of course, I scraped his hair like 10 seconds after I sealed the paint, so that needs to be fixed.)

Have both the ZC World Tuxedo Set and Daniel Craig paid for and pre-ordered from UrbanSamurai (for some reason the original e-mails when it came in went into my spam folder and I only found them a month later-- that batch was since sold out) so it's a waiting game for another batch to show up...

I read my last post and it's misleading. Buying BBKill's head and then getting it painted by Nathan (Silent Surfer) together costs well over $200. The paint job itself is under $200. But it's closer to $200 than $100.... I was going to go for it in hopes of having the best Bond money could have so am hoping someone here does the same. I'm sure there are other great artists (Josh?) but I'm not as familiar with their work.

Great repaint, Leia. I remember in the days of collecting 12" Hasbro SW and GI Joe figures thinking that SSC's paint jobs were amazing.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm without any good ideas right now.

Totally happy with the Skyfall tux after futtzing. It came in the male today. It's great.

It looks like total rubbish on all Hot Toys bodies though but it looks ace on the Che body.

Now I just need the damn BBKill Skyfall head. This Casino/Quantum head though I still love it does not quite cut it for this bash.

I'm thinking of making a small dio for my SS Black Tux Connery Bond.

I'm just taking various elements that I like from a few of the early movies plus adding some additional 60's modern elements.

So far:

Left wall: Carrera marble (digital print)
Back wall: stitched black vinyl to look like the wall behind the beds in Dr. No's lair
Floor: redish brown print
Floor covering: white rabbit skin to look like bear skin/fur
Seating: barcelona-style chair
On left wall Brown+white wooden buffet/bar - liquor bottles, ice bucket with ice, drink shaker, some glasses.
Lighting: hanging pendants above the bar - made of brass pex-to-copper adapters and clear acrylic tube with 5mm LEDs. + some hidden 5MM LED spots to highlight the scene.

There may or may not be some framed artwork hanging above the bar and a mirror hanging on the back wall - or visa versa.

I think this looks pretty good! The sculpt doesn't look bad at all.

Thanks! Took a lot of work to get the sculpt there but in my opinion it's still the best option of what is released so far. Far from perfect in desperate for that to change soon.

But the Che is a pretty small body, isn't it? I have the Mr. Han body and I think its the same but pretty short. Is that verycool tux very small as has been mentioned?

Yup bud the verycool tux is verysmall. It's a shame but that nice tailoring around the shoulders there just does not work on any hot toys body. The narrow is way too wide his shoulders bulge and the seam rides high. Is a mess and he looks like a hobo with it on a slim body. Won't even close on an advance. The Che was just right.

This is kind of my go to body for Craig so i was happy it fit. undressed you don't think it looks like his physique but stature wise it's right on, hips to waist to shoukder ratio. Since it was made to be Al Pacinos body you are right in the fact that its a bit short but it doesn't feel too small to me other than being short I officially extended my ankles but before that I was lazy and just stuffed his shoes and didn't fully push his heels in. It was the exact same result to be honest.

Well yours looks great on its own. Really awesome!
