$200 is a washing machine?

A quality paint job is just short of $200. No offense to your custom, but that paint job isn't up to my standard of quality. It's way better than anything I probably could pull off, so don't think I'm bashing your figure or the artist responsible for it. I would want this to be as life like as it comes and only Nathan and Ray have shown me that skill. Add the cost of the head which I assume is between $50 and $100 (a fair price, by the way). Add the specific body needed to compensate for the head being undersized (a generic TT used to cost around $40, I know they've climbed in price and since this is a specific body type, I'm guessing it'll cost between $50-$100). Add in the quality tailored clothes that look nice (1/6 suits used to cost $40 and looked so-so; anything cheaper looked like a bum's wardrobe). Add in the much sought after Walther handgun (it's not a commonly made toy and therefore is harder to track down and usually costs over $10 by itself unlike more common handguns).... This thing would cost well over $200.

I might be sounding picky here, but I have high standards. If I didn't, I would own some crappy version of a Craig Bond and call it a day. I don't want to waste my time or money on subpar stuff. I'd rather be without any Craig Bond than have a crummy figure in my very small collection of figures. Please don't think I'm bashing anyone's collection either. If they're happy with it, I'm happy they have a Craig Bond. My taste in figures shouldn't affect their enjoyment. That said, I can't wait to see your final product.

if you want Nathans work you'll almost double the price of the entire project though. Not that Nathans paint isn't worth it...Ive had paintwork done by him..it is totally worth every penny.

And there's the price of the Washing Machine.

I make less that 30K a year at a job I love and I have no intentions of leaving until the school closes or it's time for me to retire. My wife used to make less than me unable to get a full-time job but she recently got one and we decided with that it was time to buy a house. Kids are on the horizon. My priorities in life have changed a lot since I originally joined this website when I was just a college student. I'm still here, my passion for action figures is still here, but I'm wise enough to know how to allocate my budget. I've switched to retail action figures this year to get my buzz without breaking the bank.

I'll live vicariously through you guys. This figure is the one that has tempted me the most though. All of the ones look great and I like seeing the different combinations. The gray suit is by far my favorite look, but the tuxes are cool too.

$200 is way more than I would be prepared to spend on a guy in a suit with a gun, I don't care who he is!

Nah, I'll be happy with what I already have topped with a DID sculpt

What did that DID cost you $120? The extra $80 is well worth having a better suit and a pretty perfect sculpt instead of that **** DID one.

I thought they deliberately make the head look different from the actor so it is not an exact likeness? Otherwise the actor could sue the manufacturer?

Anyway, back to my question folks.. Is the jacket fastened up by stitching? meaning you'd have to cut the stitching to open it up?

I got so ripped off buying the figure parts separately! I got everything but the head and box, plus had to dress the bloody thing for £80! Can get the boxed figure for that! Think the ebay bug got the better of me

Nothing out there competes with Bbkill's version but the simpletoyz is better than DIDs.
