Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

What did that DID cost you $120? The extra $80 is well worth having a better suit and a pretty perfect sculpt instead of that **** DID one.

I didn't mean the figure, I meant just the head. I already have bashed the rest. When my dealer gets stock in the head should cost me under £20.

Why would I want to spend more than that when I can get a Bond I'm happy with for a fraction of the money!?

If you're 100 percent happy with that sculpt (which you can't possibly be) after seeing the Bbkill version, then that's all that matters.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Indeed, and I think I shall be. Had I the money then going the full custom route would be a no brainer, sadly though, I don't.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Hey guys got the Very Cool Bond suit and its looks great for the price.Starting my first real bash here with the Bbkill Bond and ran into a problem.I tried the Hot Toys TT21,X series body, and a knock off true type. They are all regular or normal body type and they all look way to big for the head sculpt and pretty much the suit too. Also I cant figure out what adapter for the head to use as I have tried 3 different types :dunno

That suit will need the HT Coulson body

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Yep, coulson body. Top tip from Raymond Ferraro! Who seems to have every 1:6 body going. Haha.

But seriously thanks for the help in pointing out the body ray.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Ray does seem to have every body imagineable..I wouldn't think of switching all the bodys up like that...but I'm glad he does!

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Does anyone have any links to a comparison of a naked Coulson base body vs. current TTM21 Regular? I like the TTM21 build for Craig, it just needs to be a little bit shorter.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

I would like to get the BBKill Daniel Craig sculpt. Anyone can guide me on how to contact him? Is BBKill a member in the sideshow forum? Sorry I'm pretty new here so I haven't really know much about the other members. A PM on how to get to him is greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot :)

TTM21 in the middle, Coulson on the right.

I think the Coulson is a little smaller in the chest and the arms are less bulky for sure.

It's pretty tough to get a lot of suits to fit a TTM21 around the arms/shoulders.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Is ttm22 a lot smaller as Coulson?

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

TTM22 is definitely shorter and should be even thinner. I didn't take pictures of mine before I suited it up (Henry Jones Sr.) otherwise I'd provide some comparison photo with TTM21 - there might be a review around that clearly shows both however.

Use those images to compare against the TTM21 and Coulson bodies in the photos above. IMO, if you're looking for a "scale" representation, TTM22 naked is totally unsuitable for Craig. That said, depending on the clothing, you can easily hide the fact the body is essentially a pipe cleaner and a make a decent looking suited figure. ;)

I do love TTM22 for custom work because it's easy to fit any clothing to it, bulking up where necessary.

Hey very helpful. What neck adapter did you use to fit the head?

Wow, at first glance, I thought there may not be enough difference but I can definitely see how the coulson would be better for a person with a suit.
The shoulders are shorter, less gap between the neck and deltoids.
And the deltoids are shaped nicer.
Thought I could get away with probably just using one of my spare narrow but I can see now how the coulson is a much better body to use with a suit.
Thanks for the pics, definitely helpful.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

I'm sure it's why Hot Toys chose such a svelte frame for an actor that is clearly not - it allows a well tailored miniature suit to hang well with decent articulation. Unlike full-scale fabric, the miniature will never drape poorly on the thinner frame revealing it to be "too thin" for the character nor making the suit look poorly sized. The Coulson figure also features some padding under the shirt if I'm not mistaken?
