Good looking Bond!

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

It's bbkills sculpt.

Great figure ymba! I honestly can't decide between that toys city suit you've used or the very cool one!

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Get the toys city suit . Put a headset and a blue shirt on him and you will be very happy . The TTL body is not bad . As you can see, it will work

"Craig is James Bond ". :)

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Toys City doesn't make a blue tux, only black and white. "Very Cool" makes a blue tux - though it doesn't seem anywhere near the quality of the Toys City models and you'll read various reports of it being pretty small/tight here in the thread.

That's why Ray recommended to use Coulson on Very Cool Tux.
He said its a great Tux but unfortunately wouldnt fit with most Truetypes but It looks perfect with a Coulson body

Here's his post:

I think Rahmier84 did a great paint job and no question got the hair 100% right. As Platty said it totally differs scene to scene and what light he is in. The complexion and hair and eyebrows to skin can totally make or break the likness.

I have two outfits for my craig, this is the first. The coulson body is perfect for the size of the bbkill head which is a tad undersized.

The Verycool tux looks horrible on a regular narrow shoulder TT. Thankfully it looks great on the more narrow build Coulson.

Will post properly lit photos ad the other outfit later on

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

The toys city tux is actually way better quality than the blue very cool. It's just no good for Craig cause it's inaccurate to anything he wore. The very cool is good and certainly works if you have the right body, but the white and black toys city smokes it in every department

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Yep ^

It's a shame. I wonder if the white toys city tux would take some blue dye...

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Interesting idea to dye the white tux… I pre-ordered the black one months ago and it's waiting for me to ship at BBTS for use on a Connery custom. I still haven't found anything I quite like for Craig (Casino Royale look).

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Here is one of my older Craig . Now I look at my older Bond , I can see how far Craig has come along :)

It might actually be easier to bleach the black one. I'm almost 100% positive that bleach will not affect the shiny black collar. Once you bleach the rest of the suit, just dye it the appropriate blue.

Ray did it with the Toys City black suit for his Goldeneye bash.

Start experimenting people!

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Why not just dye the black tux blue? Wouldn't it result in a blue undertone? The Skyfall tux is so dark it's difficult to see the blue.

Back to the watch an accessory I find pretty significant though no one else seems to :p this would be a suitlebly inexpensive option:

Providing you take off the lens and change the dial face to that of the black omega one ;)

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

The shawl collar may be tricky too. As its white.

Yeah, I forgot about that and thought the collar was already black. Thread will dye fine if it's natural fiber, not so much if it's not. ;)

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Platty glad you're stoked in the body! It's a good one to have in the arsenal!

Toys city bleached and died just fine, stitches and all when I went blue for peirce as seen a few pages back. The cut is slightly different on that tux which I have on Sean standing next to him, not quite similar to the Tom Ford tux from Skyfall. Keep your eyes peeled I'm sure more will turn up!

As Remy said as I can vouch, it's definitely a great tux but all depending on the body. The other body it looks great on is the Enterbay Pacino body, but I'd totally edge the coulson body over it in terms of fit for that tux.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD
