HT would produce a great Bond figure. My only concern would be that they'd make one figure of Craig then sit on the license without releasing any other Bonds or film characters. I just wish any company (except SS) would get the license and run with it. I'd love to see two figures released each year--a Bond and a villain/Bond girl.

If HT would do it right and give it their full attention and their best artists, I think it would be phenomenal.

HT's best artists still can't capture a likeness the first time around. How many re-releases do you want before we have something that still comes up short compared to what's been released by the talented members of this board? Frankly, I wouldn't even trust them with the clothes unless they were going to price these at $250+ Just take a look at the suit on Bruce Wayne from the armory release.

I'd have to agree it would be better for some other company to make them instead.

Both good choices! Though I feel bbkills new one is based on dc in casino royale! But I'm sure it would look good. I'm eager to see that one myself. I'd definitely have a casino royale bash on the shelf as well as skyfall and goldeneye.

Which DC sculpt and outfit are you planning on using for your Skyfall Bond Platty? I just got the Very Cool blue tux for my DC Bond and I have to say that I'm very impressed by the quality of it.

Honestly speaking, the most fit company to look this line is: DID.
If you do have Chicago Gangster II Robert, You will be amazed by their tailoring. So fit and neat. Only they gotta give us better HS instead of thin rubber HS.

Yeah, I'd run if it were DID. Together with Fewture they really screwed up the Fringe line pretty badly - that was my most anticipated line last year and I had to pass.

So STARZ has been airing the Bond films all March and asking viewers to vote for their favorite Bond film. STARZ is going to air the top seven (7) choices this Sunday March 29th.

The seven films that received the top votes:

You Only Live Twice
Thunderball
Goldfinger
Dr. No
From Russia With Love
Goldeneye
Octopussy



Octopussy?! What the hell....? But I'm very happy to see the first 5 Connery Bonds in the top 7.

Keep in mind they did not air any Craig Bonds or OHMSS, but they did air pretty much everything else at least once.

Octopussy is a good film. Like I said earlier I enjoy Moore's later films more than his earlier stuff. For Your Eyes Only is my favourite though, love the ending with him climbing the rock. I think these last three film don't get enough love, cause he's quite old in them.

Love Dr No, Goldfinger, and Goldeneye. But I'm afraid I'm one of those people who finds From Russia With Love a bit too slow and dull (not counting of course the fantastic showdown with Robert Shaw on the train).

The others I haven't seen in quite awhile so it's hard to be sure, but I definitely agree OHMSS and Casino Royale deserve to be on any Best Of list.

I wonder if that would work anymore? Audiences are too used to the idea of character progression and hero's 'journeys'.

I think so...every movie now is the personal angle. It seemed it was all set up for a back to basics Bond film and now, we get this?

Yeah, I had hoped for that too, but maybe they feel Craig's intensity necessitates a certain degree of vengeance.

I wasn't really expecting a radical shift in tone from the previous Craig movies myself. And yeah, it does kind of look a lot like Skyfall Part 2 at the moment, but that was a good movie so I could easily live with another one of those.

Plus there's the involvement of SPECTRE and Christoph Waltz (who was pretty much born to be a Bond villain). So that should be really fun to see.

That trailer might be live, but, word is that Modern Life are on hold. Info is very sketchy with no official word. I found out on OSW in a reply from Fabio at KP.

As has been said before, no licensed Bond will be live unless BB caves. I wish NECA all the luck, but, if she gives it to them, will she let anyone else in!? I don't think HT would go for it, it's not Marvel and look what they've done with Star Wars so far. Star Ace aren't close enough yet and would leave her fearing another SSC debacle, 3Zero, mmm, not quite their cup of tea. DID are dead to her already as they did an unlicensed Bond with their MI6 Jack. Out of anyone around now, I'd say Big Chief could be a likely candidate, room for improvement sure, but you never know....

I am liking the new trailer, I am impressed with the darker edgier Bond. And Daniel Craig pulls it off a lot better than people thought when they announced a blue eyed bond

Anyway back to topic Spectre is looking like it follows on from Skyfall so hopefully we can tie in the first 2 films too on the major organisation that infiltrated MI6 tried to kill M and take over world
