Anyone would be a fool to go near it, pity anyone that does. If it is a single one, it would give whoever does get it carte blanche to recast it, so there could be an upside. We'll see what happens....

The auction isn't worded to indicate this is a one-of-kind sculpt - it's also written in a bit of a shill-like manner as I'm assuming this is Toria's personal eBay account. She's re-posted a link to the auction on her FB account.
It'll be interesting to see where the auction ends. It will also be interesting to see how the final product will be sold - parts or, partial or complete figures only.
IMO, this auction is a bad strategy if she plans to produce this head in greater volume in 2016.

For as much as she talks and posts about trying to make Modern Life a business..she has the worst business sense ever. Creating entirely new bodies that aren't needed at all? Making all the sculpts neckless? Never selling sculpts at the height of said films popularity (Hardy Max) it truly hurts my brain

I followed the link on FB. She keeps showing pics of this on a body they plan to do. I am refusing to comment on anything she does and will continue not to until I see concrete proof that any of them will actually be released for sale to the public. I'd advise anyone to do the same, I'm not saying Modern Life have become a con, but, unless they prove otherwise it's best to treat it as one and give them a wide berth.

They're doing the opposite of what one would consider a con, spending what likely amounts to no small sum and not selling anything. Producing a custom 1/6 body is a serious endeavour and requires a decent commitment at the factory/production level. Not something I'd ever consider unless I was going to do something entirely revolutionary, which their new body unfortunately isn't. Even then, without a great distribution channel, it would be very difficult to turn a significant profit.

Well, I wouldn't give them a single penny of my money now. They really need to prove themselves before that happens, and so far they are not doing a very good job. If they sold up and were bought out by someone that actually knew what they were doing then they'd stand a chance.

Regarding the modern life bond. It's a good job I think the likeness isn't great otherwise I'd be following and wishing like all you guys!
For now I'm perfectly happy with my bbkill skyfall figure. But I have my eye on the eleven and ace toyz sculpts. If they are good - their good, if not then it's no big deal to me. I feel like I have the Craig figure I want - any new heads that have better likenesses are just a small bonus.

I would love a Moore head if there were some cool 70s-style outfits out there to go with it, but without those I just don't really see the point unfortunately (and the old Sideshow outfits just don't look detailed or high quality enough to do the job).
