It was never meant to be on, that's the big point people have missed. DID never said this was Bond, that was down to retailers and eBay stores. Word got out from them that DID were doing Bond, when in fact they weren't. They were doing an MI6 agent.

Just like they did a French Resistance fighter, but, it wasn't Brad Pitt from Inglorious B'stards, it got labelled as such by others, not them.

This figure is 100% what DID always intended it to be, end of

Roger, it doesn't matter what DID's "on-the-sly" marketing position is, it's clear they were after a Craig likeness and it's clear they're positioning this as Bond and no one else. There's no known image of any "MI6 Agent" in real life. This is and was always intended to be the archetypal tuxedo-clad Bond with a real-life Bond actor's likeness.

I'm sure DID could have made a better effort, but that's also besides the point. People in here want a Craig Bond and this falls somewhat short in the likeness department just like everything else before it.

My caveat with the figure is that the actual in hand production head sculpt DOES NOT MATCH what they used to advertise & market the figure. It completely strays from it. That's my issue; however, better in hand pictures (so far) is beginning to sink in, but still . . . it's nowhere near what they advertised/marketed.

I'm waiting on that Natchan "Enemy" figure to go with this... and that project has gone deathly silent.

I'm waiting too! I wish they'd give an update, but I'm sure we'll hear something soon. (I hope so anyway.)

Thanks for the suggestions (and encouragement), guys. I'm still poking at the sculpt, but I think I'm getting there.

Here's where he is today.

The main change between this one and the last one is that I blunted the nose slightly more, softened the definition in his mouth, and filled in his philtrum a bit.

Okay, so, so far, my Bond/Craig collection consists in:

- that head sold a few years back on Monkey depot and which seems to be by Eric Sosa
- the Feng head as sold by TLL
- that custom agent sold a few years back with a case
- that hs which looked way too brown in the pictures about two months back
- the Simplz toys hs
- the brother prod
- the ZCWO
- natchans

My DID is about 10 - 12 days way.

So, so far, which is the best? Pretty hard choice. The best sculpts are definitely simplz toys and Eric Sosa's, the best tux is, no contest here ZCWO, but my favorite, though slightly off in the jaw area, is definitely the brother prod. He looks the more Bond to me. Simplz toys is too... I don't know, to nice guy looking, Sosa's the best base but it needs a fuller figure and a completely different hairdo. The others are no competition.

So unless my in hand DID changes all that, if I had to choose only one, Brother prod all the way

16k, any chance you can line up all your heads and take a picture? Really love to see the entire span of Craig head choices.

I pre-ordered it too. I just got the notice that I will have the tracking soon.

I just saw the New Ebay photos with the photos of the figure and I am pretty disapointed. No wonder all the prices dropped.

It's one thing that there is semi likeness or no likeness to some people, but what upset me is that it's nothing like the product advertised in their marketing photos.

I'm agreeing with the comments here,

The DID which was already not that great, turned out a lot worse in the final product. Don't even like the tux.

Unfortunately, the sculpt that is being sent out is not the same as was originally shown by DID in their advertising.

Look at how the sculpt looks so different from one in-hand shot to another, including its apparent length. I think the sculpt in fact didn't change, it's all a matter of photography.

In complete darkness the DID is just perfect.
