Peter Jackson sees the $$$ and he probably had a meeting with George Lucas.
More like a WB decision.

That's what I thought. But if they stuck a few extras on with the Avatar movie, the picture quality would suffer because of it?
Not especially, but if you put on the disc a 2 hour documentary, plus featurettes, plus other stuff, then yeah, pq will suffer, even if slighty.
Oh and also, the movie is already 2hr and 40 mins, so that's quite a lot too.
I really hate that cover, but I can't wait to get this!
I do as well... that image just looks really off to me. Seems to be the main one for posters, but I don't like it.
Oh well, guess I have to wait a month to get this from Netflix but I have not interest in buying this twice on BluRay

I wonder if they thought a more human looking Neytiri would be better for the one-sheet.
The Mattel image looks as crappy as their toys. Come on Hot Toys!
Has anyone seen it in 2d? Is it even worth seeing? If the 3D effect is achieved by using polarized glasses, I know I won't get the effect. Add to that a barely functioning projector at the theater(which doesn't help most 2D movies), and it probably won't be worth my time.
