Check out The Thin Red Line's wikipedia page. I never said movies had that much edited footage. I said alternate takes and such. The Thin Red Line on the other hand is a different story. Supposedly the first cut was five-six hours. Many actors were cut completely out of that film.

Huh.....that's really weird. I'll look it up. :)

I could bearly watch the first...lol.

I dont hate them, and I think they're great films, I just dont care for fantasy. I'm a sci fi guy. :D

They new movie release is 8mins longer

They new DVD realease will be 16.5 minutes longer

And the 3D release is pushed back since 3D TV's haven't being doing so well.

I hope this gets number 1 but i doubt it. I think it would be more efficent (spelling) for just a dvd release.

No they just enjoy the movie is it so wrong to like a movie you know.

Wait why am i explaining this to you, you like to go agaist avatar for some reason. Didnt you see the movie five time's in the theater or sumthing.

it's still not worth it to me to go for 8 extra minutes when the DVD with the same amount of footage will be out soon

and who really wants a TV that costs a minimum of $5K these days anyway? :dunno

<<< not a sheep. I just thought that movie on a big screen in 3D was so spectacular and well implemented that I'd love to see it again. And if it has extra footage? Bonus :)

I would only go see this again if an imax in my area had it. Other then that my bluray has been collecting dust. I have no desire to watch it again. :dunno

Same here and i'm going with some friends that never saw it in 3D so that should be fun.

because they are. I know you dont understand it but thats the point of being a sheep.

I don't understand how someone who wants to go see the movie is a sheep? If they like it then well they like it.

I happen to be in the camp that says this movie is very overrated. I found the characters to be rather dull and the story a rehash of several other movies.

My opinion aside, I have no problem with people that want to go see it.
