Great to see so many positive reviews of this. I'm gonna have to rebook my tickets for a later date , I've woke up feeling like I've got the flu. Mega crappy:(. I hope they'll exchange them when I phone the imax.

Re: I saw AVATAR in 3D!

I have an imax ticket tomorrow at 19:00, central seats \:D/

LOVED IT!!!!!!

Best experience since Fellowship of the Ring IMO.

It was an amazing ride and everything looked so real. Incredible. I wish Horner's score was more memorable but it worked...just no real main themes.

Creatures on Pandora rocked. Loved it. Cameron did go into a bit too much "indian history" for parts of it...my biggest complaint.

The last hour is so freakin' intense. I felt like I was on a ride. ;)

Saw it in 3D on the Cinemark XD.

BTW, I'm probably overthinking things, but this is an interesting thought I had:

Pandora assimilated Jake. None of the other Avatars were that involved with the local population, not even Cage. Sure, they were intrigued by it and wanted to establish good relationships, but Jake was the only one who went far. Why was that? Especially when he was pleased with his old life, and was going to get his legs back? But it was hinted at in the movie that he was the first Avatar to actually use that neuro-upload thing, or at least repeatedly.

What if the planet used him, began overwriting his human self, so that it would have a weapon against those invading it's "body"? It was quite easy after all: A "pure" heart is the easiest to 'corrupt', and his disability made it even easier for him to get 'lost'. Then, at the end, he is 'rewarded' by having his human self killed so that the planet can upload his memories and personality into his Avatar form, since it was already said that they only upload memories, not their actual souls.

As for the others; well, it was easy for them to be manipulated as well thanks to their involvement with Jake. Maybe Quadritch either knew or suspected all of this as well, having been on the planet for so long and having seen how hostile it is, and he is certainly not a foolish man.

lol dude

he did every thing cause he fell in love with the girl.

it's. a. TOY.

yet some people spend long hours getting busy with them. :D

it's called a passion, yes? that's why we bother wasting time on anything others deem stupid.

:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl

You make a good point, and I applaud you for it :D the only difference here... is that I don't care whether people like my customs. They either do or they don't. (and some don't!). I don't feel the need to try to 'convince' them that they're wrong.

but well played anyway :lol :peace

(oh.... and 'getting busy' with them?? :lol)

I have glasses. And they will fit nicely over top of your glasses and still look perfect. I've had no issues with it. They give you a pair of what looks like fancy sunglasses. No more cardboard red/green.
It's Polarized lenses.
