Same. The movies follow the tired “ omg the 80s was totally awesome” vibe that’s getting boring. Besides I could care less for a couple of z listers . The mcu didn’t really help me like them. They seemed like bottom of the barrel characters to use since they didn’t have the rights to most of the popular characters yet

Agreed. Peter Jackson had the most twisted movie of all time Dead Alive, and he eventually brought the LOTR to cinema.

I'm sitting here thinking, what is this movie Dead Alive?? and some googling tells me it was the movie I know of as "Bad Taste", which yes I watched as a young fella along with Meet The Feebles and Braindead..

Don’t approve of what he said. Don’t find it funny, at all, just gross. At the same time, they are just words. Words he tweeted years ago. And there’s no doubt in my mind that Disney was aware of this, years ago. This is all just damage control on their part because it’s back in the spotlight now cause of The Daily Caller story. If Gunn had still been making these kinds of statements while in their employ, I could see firing him. That would make it similar to the Roseanne situation. But to fire him now is just spineless, and there’s no doubt in my mind they were aware of this years ago. Having said all that, celebrities would do well to just stay off Twitter. We all think stupid things, sometimes, but not every thought needs to be expressed to the world over the internet and thus made a matter of public record.

I don't get it either. I myself take nearly everything as a joke you should see this whatsapp group that i am in. I would never joke abour rape or pedophilia it doesn't even cross my mind to even think about joking about it. I don't get how someone would and that is from someone who jokes around about nearly everytyhing.

Actually, no, everything can be made fun of. It's the purpose of black humor. Now you don't have to like it, and it's understandable, but then stay out of it. As a great French stand up comedian once said, you can make fun of anything, but not with everyone. The only thing this guy is guilty of, and it will serve as a lesson for him, is the with everyone part. As long as you publish stuff on the dreaded social network, then if the door slams back in your face, don't come and complain, you've laid your own bed. That's why I'll never post anything on Facebook or anything.

The part that's crappy about it is that this is being stirred up by Mike Cernovich who has said even more outlandish things, on a more consistent basis, in the current timeframe. But he doesn't get paid by a company that pretends that it's moralistic, so Gunn loses his job. Meanwhile Cernovich gets to go on being an inflammatory, racist, hate-mongering *******.
