Flippin'eck, just found out this was going on from seeing this thread (I don't watch the news) but I've put it in CNN now and this is devastating. That first wave that hit Japan was horrifc, the news are claiming it was up to 10m in height. It just swept everything away, so shocking to watch.

EDIT:Apparently the first wave of the Tsunami that will hit Hawaii in about 90 mins is now at at metre and half in height.

Truly amazing footage being shot, would think it's like an Roland Emmerich film. Don't remember a quake quite like this.

This is scary...and the problem with the cooling system on that nuclear power plant is even worst.

Hope nothing else happnes...many countrys on south America are being evacuated.

luckily i live inland up towards the mountain side. my parent's house is 5 minutes from the beach but not in the tsunami danger zone. i'd be pretty freaked out if i had to stay cooped up in a hotel on waikiki beach though...

Doing more reading (my little girl is watching Disney Channel) and seeing how devastating this is so far, and how many other areas are yet to be hit! My goodness!! This seems to be as bad as that Christmas tsunami a few years back.
