I hope all of our Japan members will check in as soon as they can and let us know they are ok...

I just sent an email to fellow member "GERMS" who is from Nikko-shi Japan....I am not sure how hard hit they were but I am hoping to hear back soon.

Watching BBC, best english coverage I've found.

They had a geologist saying you have to go back at least a thousand years in the geological record to find a comparable earthquake event in Japan.

As bad as the quake sounds, that Tsunami looks like it's causing even more damage.

Awful.

Wholy Sheeet Tsunamis again :horror I feel bad for them , i hope that dude that makes those sick ass Zombies is ok

I was thinking the same thing. People are posting in his thread as well wishing him luck. I hope he is ok.

As bad as all of this is, it is Japan's strict building codes and good engineering that ensures the death count remains relatively low and limited to the rural regions closer to the epicenter.

The worst thing the quake seems to have done is the damage to the power plant.

Its the Tsunami thats causing widescale damage and loss of life.

I wonder if Hot Toys is affected by this? I hope they can get over this and make the Christopher Reeve Superman already.
Too soon?

Your joke is in very poor taste. Many people will have their lives ruined by this and you are complaining about a 1/6 figure not being released?!

And then Americans wonder why the world hates us? It's idiots making comments like this one.

I don't worry about silly little stuff like toys, but I have to admit along side the concern for the people immediately affected, I also always get concerned about the global economy and how governments can pretty much go bankrupt trying to pick up the pieces of these events, which ends up impacting millions of people rather than thousands.

watching video of the water tearing the ____ out of everything is completely mind blowing & scary as hell looking.................what a ____ing mess. so surreal ............:monkey2

Kindest regards

I am just amazed at what is going on. I am sad for the people of Japan and the world, too. A lot of people around the world have families there. I just hope that everything will be as okay as it can. I will be keeping my prayers up.
