Ok didn’t resist to open it just for inspection and try all the electronics.
It reminds me a little bit the old good times in 2013 with the HT one.
First, if you got back pains, forget, this monster is atrociously heavy.
When I remember all the folks who asked Joost to make the car die cast… it would have be crazy!
I will take the time tomorrow to really inspect the car and talk further about it but from what I see, it seems flawless and is just absolutely GORGEOUS!
Don’t listen all the haters.
It’s a completely new and different car from the HT.
A real museum piece. 😉

Wow! That looks stunning!

Unboxed mine last night. I thought I knew what to expect since I've since so many pics of it online already, but seeing it in person totally blew me away. I love it😀

Congrats Rondesmo!
Batman Thumbs Up GIF

Rondesmo your pictures are amazing. I think that the batmobile looks great. If I could afford it I would have gotten it to. So many things I like on it over the hot toys that I have. I really like the wheels and the tires and the overall shape of the car over the hot toys one. Looks great.

Anyone know what are some good shelves for these batmobiles? It looks like some people are using garage shelves that look like https://reibii.com/collections/storage-shelves.

I want to dustproof the shelves so I can probably get acrylic sheets cut to size and seal up all the sides and maybe attach the front with some velcro. Anyone have suggestions?

Personally I plan to order a DF 120 from Moducase.

Also, FYI, BadBoyToyStore just yesterday added a whole slew of Moducase display cases and accessories that they’ve never offered before.

Sure, they do bump the item prices a bit but their $4.00 Pile of Loot shipping more than makes up for that.

Check em out. I placed two large POs yesterday.

Ok took the time to really « play » with it today.

Still immensely pleased!
It’s a wonderful piece!
As I said before, it’s a completely new and fresh car compared to the HT.
The paint job is great and deep. If you put direct light on it you can see purple accents.
It’s not as glossy as saw on pics. It’s really a nice satin black.
The turbine nose is absolutely not silver. It is a dark gun metal which doesn’t reflect too much.
The rims color is wonderful. Not as bright copper saw on over exposed pics. It gets a sweet aluminum finish.
The gauges when switched on aren’t greeny-blue saw on videos and pics. It’s the lenses that caused this illusion. It’s more a white grey light.

The general silhouette is way sleeker and longer than the HT. All the elements seem bigger. The canopy itself looks twice bigger like the guns panels.
The rear wings get a different shape much more curved.
All the mesh grills give some nice « real thing » touches.
From distance, it looks like nothing less than the real car shrunken in 1/6 scale. It’s so accurate IMO.

The cockpit and dashboard reveal so many details everywhere and get a « real touch » that lack on the HT.

Now if I were a professional nipticker, (who I’m not), I would say that the opening cinematic of the cockpit is not as smooth as the HT and is noisy. (The HT one was noisy too).
If you put the light with your camera directly on the paint you can see few micro defects in the paint or molds marks but it’s so tiny and almost invisible at natural light.
I just look closely because of the drama but if you weren’t aware of all this, you certainly not saw anything.
The machine guns are not easy to deploy and I miss the gold finish on the bullets of the HT.
The movie sounds clips are absolutely useless. The speakers are awful in terms of sound. It’s way too loud and redundant.
I wish Joost had included only the « descent into mystery » music. It would have been great.
The turbine is noisy too and I will never use the smoke effect.

But nothing, absolutely that bother me too much.

Just in front of me, it looks glorious and have the enormous advantage to look like the real thing compared to the HT.
Don’t get me wrong, the HT was great. I used to love it. I had it during 10 years and I still think that at retail price, above all at 2013 price, so 500-600 $, it was a great deal and still a great piece with a lot of presence.

But when you unbox this Jazzinc for the 1st time, you immediately understand and realize how the HT was off on almost every aspect.

Now, contemplating this monster, I’m just saying to myself that I’m sad and angry for all the folks that canceled because of the unjustified drama.
Go on the 1/3 PCS Robocop and go to see what’s a real scam…

Yes it was super expensive, almost 3 times for what I paid for the HT and I’m not a rich man. But absolutely no regret!
But still convinced that it was a steal for the price.
Any other big company would have charged the double for the same thing.
Congrats Joost and your team!

Still sorry for my bad English. It was my modest and honest review on this incredible car.😉
