Ok took the time to really « play » with it today.

Still immensely pleased!
It’s a wonderful piece!
As I said before, it’s a completely new and fresh car compared to the HT.
The paint job is great and deep. If you put direct light on it you can see purple accents.
It’s not as glossy as saw on pics. It’s really a nice satin black.
The turbine nose is absolutely not silver. It is a dark gun metal which doesn’t reflect too much.
The rims color is wonderful. Not as bright copper saw on over exposed pics. It gets a sweet aluminum finish.
The gauges when switched on aren’t greeny-blue saw on videos and pics. It’s the lenses that caused this illusion. It’s more a white grey light.

The general silhouette is way sleeker and longer than the HT. All the elements seem bigger. The canopy itself looks twice bigger like the guns panels.
The rear wings get a different shape much more curved.
All the mesh grills give some nice « real thing » touches.
From distance, it looks like nothing less than the real car shrunken in 1/6 scale. It’s so accurate IMO.

The cockpit and dashboard reveal so many details everywhere and get a « real touch » that lack on the HT.

Now if I were a professional nipticker, (who I’m not), I would say that the opening cinematic of the cockpit is not as smooth as the HT and is noisy. (The HT one was noisy too).
If you put the light with your camera directly on the paint you can see few micro defects in the paint or molds marks but it’s so tiny and almost invisible at natural light.
I just look closely because of the drama but if you weren’t aware of all this, you certainly not saw anything.
The machine guns are not easy to deploy and I miss the gold finish on the bullets of the HT.
The movie sounds clips are absolutely useless. The speakers are awful in terms of sound. It’s way too loud and redundant.
I wish Joost had included only the « descent into mystery » music. It would have been great.
The turbine is noisy too and I will never use the smoke effect.

But nothing, absolutely nothing that bother me too much.

Just in front of me, it looks glorious and have the enormous advantage to look like the real thing compared to the HT.
Don’t get me wrong, the HT was great. I used to love it. I had it during 10 years and I still think that at retail price, above all at 2013 price, so 500-600 $, it was a great deal and still a great piece with a lot of presence.

But when you unbox this Jazzinc for the 1st time, you immediately understand and realize how the HT was off on almost every aspect.

Now, contemplating this monster, I’m just saying to myself that I’m sad and angry for all the folks that canceled because of the unjustified drama.
Go on the 1/3 PCS Robocop and go to see what’s a real scam…

Yes it was super expensive, almost 3 times for what I paid for the HT and I’m not a rich man. But absolutely no regret!
But still convinced that it was a steal for the price.
Any other big company would have charged the double for the same thing.
Congrats Joost and your team!

Still sorry for my bad English. It was my modest and honest review on this incredible car.😉

That was a very good review. If the HT one didn't get a reissue like I did I would have bought this, no question. As it is, I'm fine with my decision but can't deny that the 89 Batmobile is a beast.

Also, your English is pretty good! the hell are you sorry for?

Gotta wait until I get home from work. So stoked!

Amazing photos and love your passion for the 89 batmobile. I hope to pick this up too!

Also, FYI, BadBoyToyStore just yesterday added a whole slew of Moducase display cases and accessories that they’ve never offered before.

Sure, they do bump the item prices a bit but their $4.00 Pile of Loot shipping more than makes up for that.

Check em out. I placed two large POs yesterday.

I was hoping BBTS had some MAX140 Plus but they don’t seem to stock that one - need some for my 1:3 statues.

The DF120 is pretty versatile for a variety of 1/6 figures and vehicles - probably a better investment long term since they’re more flexible in displaying than the Sixth cases as your collection grows.

Mine arrived last night @9pm (was supposed to arrive no later than 3:15pm). I absolutely LOVE it! The paint job is immaculate, the fit and finish of the canopy & other covers are great and the lights all work and are nice and bright. I'll try to post some pics later if I get a chance. Well done @JazzInc!

Who’d’ve believed that a 71 year old f*rt like me could’ve wrestled that beast out of its packaging by myself?

Well I did and here she is: #581!

Z

PS: I’ll check out the electronics and accessories tomorrow. I’m bushed right now!

But I will say that I was completely blown away with the care Jazzinc took in protecting the car with its shipping container! And the paint job is absolutely beautiful!

Just in time for Christmas! Thanks again, Joost!

It’s crazy that the FedEx driver didn’t bother to ring my bell and left the huge box OUTSIDE the lobby where anyone walking past my building can just walk in and steal it.

Also crazy that a $1600 item doesn’t require any signatures

They did the exact same thing with my 1966 a few years back

Anyways glad I finally got my package, can anyone confirm if the package is just 1 box? Based on the “delivery confirmation” pic I notice a smaller box behind. Which may very well be another apt’s package (I wasn’t home to collect the package, father in law did so I just wanna make sure 1 box is all that was shipped)

Thanks to anyone who can confirm (I can’t open the box to inspect since I am waiting for DF120 for it)

Strange, since we pay extra for signature required
