So they’re animated heads with realistic bodies…?

It’s a given that figures based on the animated series would stand out / clash with live action figures - that’s sort of the whole point.

Especially considering you guys decided to make the BTAS Batmobile faithful to the animation and not “realistic”.

if you didn't want a realistic interpretation, why not just get the Mondo fig then?

Because those actually suck especially for the price. And I have 2 of those Batman figures so I would know.

The reason why people would want this is because it's 1/6 BTAS which hasn't been done officially with soft goods. If it's ending up as an interpretation of BTAS, animated head with realistic body proportions, I don't think a lot would want this. The animated body proportions can be done well. Just look at Hot Toy's Across the Spiderverse - Spiderman 2099. The final product is somewhat similar in proportions to BTAS. It was done well in spite of the earlier setbacks. If anything, if Hot Toys decides to do it, they'd probably nail it.

Having reviewed the mondo and the third party versions neither worked. Someone customised this a while ago, mondo body with a fabric outfit. The articulation is subpar and aesthetically speaking imo it doesn’t work.

I think that looks pretty good considering it’s a modded custom. It looks like Batman from the animated series.

Maybe the shoulders are a bit too round, but this’ll look like an even worse custom if you go the generic “Arnold” body route.

Because if the base is actually a Mondo body then it will suck no matter what. The Mondo figure didn't have good articulation to begin with.

It's cartoonish and faithful to its animated model. Here's a side by side comparison with a realistic body proportion.

Not seeing how Spiderverse 2099 is less cartoonish than Batman Animated Series proportions. The HT SM 2099 actually looks closer to the Iron Studios statue of Animated Batman than it does to the Jazzinc.
