TE sculpt looks excellent there...and going from their previous releases the proto to production process looks pretty good...

The never ending flow of options continues...

Third party companies are going to town on this with no licensed options out there!

I’m surprised there aren’t any custom or third party staircase bases yet to replicate him dancing down the steps. It would be awesome to have one with a streetlight and railing attached.

:lol Three Leto Jokers would you believe! Arkham, purple coat and tuxedo figures. In fairness they bought the licence to the movie when they didn't know it was going to suck. That also included Deadshot, Batman and the Harley Quinn figures so they probably did quite well off it.

Actually 4. Arkham, Purple, Tuxedo, and a Joker dressed like Batman. :lol

The bonus with the Toys Era -- whether you like the sculpts or not -- is that you can use the alternate heads with those Cuke outfit sets (if they get made)... gives you enough for a Causal Arthur Fleck and one for the Subway Kill Joker.

If those outfit sets are around $50, you could theoretically have 3 Joker variants for about $300 (nearly the cost of one HT figure shipped to you in Q1 2021)

I'll get the TE one if HT doesn't make a move here in the next week or so.

I'll just wait for HT. I like official stuff. If they don't make one, the joke's on them.

I may have just changed my mind. (easily influenced?) I dunno, i drink sometimes.

Yeah ya know what **** the toys era one, at least until someone comes around to swing me.

C'mon HT make it happen!

The HT ship has sailed. If HT was going to do one, they’d have had it at NYCC. This movie didn’t sneak up on anyone. As others have said, the license probably wasn’t available to them. They love their Jokers. Still a little surprising their Romero never made it out. If the license opens up later they still might do one then but it’s not happening anytime soon.

These third party releases tend to sell out suddenly and become scarce real quick so I’d recommend jumping on one sooner rather than later.

I'm holding out hope it's gonna be some kinda super deluxe like Bespin Luke. (either way i wish we could somehow get a confirmation)

A fools hope?

We'll see, it took HT several years to make a Pennywise. Hopefully by the time Joker comes out on blu ray or maybe it gets nominated for an Oscar in several categories, HT will show a prototype. Also, with the possible talks of a sequel, I could also see HT doing what they often do, which is make a figure from a sequel, rather than the original film (Sparrow and every character from POTC, Loki, Blade, Penny, Furry, Rocky etc.).

Maybe WB is waiting after the award season is over to push the merchandise out there. They want the film to maintain the arthouse image, which is difficult to do with a line of toys, shirts, and funko pops out there.

You may be onto something. Or nothing. Time will tell.

Technically Pennywise was right on time since he’s from IT 2, but fair point. John Wick was similar as well. I just see this as more of Logan situation than either of those. By all accounts HT should have done a Logan but no real merchandise came out of that film either. Lots of third party attempts though.

Oh yeah, and they never made a Logan from the first movie, which had the coolest outfit, imo.

Also Raimi Spidey. They made one from the third film, instead of Part 1 or 2.

Watched the movie for the second time today. It's a masterpiece. Some scenes are just perfect and demonic.

From what Nanjin said in the QMX Star Trek thread, HT getting the It 2 license was solely to crush QMx’s offering and they did. But anyway, im in for the TE but a nice HT one will always be good but also 2 years from now.
